I’m new to coaching and just signed up my first client. The package is $70 per session, and it feels amazing to see someone trusting me with their growth.

I was nervous about approaching clients without a finished offer. I decided to do a research call anyway. During the call, the client said I need you” and now I might have a client for an offer I haven’t fully created. The experience showed me that taking action matters more than perfection.

I paid €2,000 for Sina Port’s “Garden Mentoring” program.
During the call, when I said I could not afford the full €7,000 price, they proposed that I take a loan. They pressed me to pay immediately, and only after the payment did they send the contract.

When I received it, I had to insist that I needed to eat in order to end the call and take time to read the contract properly on my own.
After reading it, I refused to sign because it contained abusive clauses (termination without cause but still obligated to pay, liability capped at $100, unlimited image rights).

I asked for a refund less than one hour after payment. The refund was processed only after more than a week and multiple messages and a formal notice, and €80 remain unpaid. Despite my follow-up messages, the company has still failed to refund the remaining €80, which I have told them they are legally required to return under EU consumer law.

I have payment confirmations, message exchanges, and screenshots of the contract clauses.
A company that proposes loans to secure payment, pressures clients to pay before sending the contract, hides abusive clauses, and issues partial refunds cannot be trusted.
