This was an incredible experience. I have always been an independent learner and this course has really allowed me to independently learn whilst also offering any help which I needed along the way. The staff are so lovely and chatty and gave me so much help and guidance at the beginning and throughout the course. Thank you!

The course and the work placement was useful but when I joined this program, I was promised a job at the end of the internship if my performance was good. If I didn't get taken on for the job at the end, I was promised that Bradstone Allington would help me find another job.

I finished my placement 2 weeks ago. I have contacted the careers team and they're not willing to help. I've asked them to contact my placement lead but they're refusing. They don't seem to want to help me find another job either. I should have received feedback for my final task that I did during the placement and I should have also received a reference from the placement lead but nothing. The careers team have told me to keep applying for jobs but they're meant to be helping me find one. They've now left me to my own devices.

The internship was useful but I don't understand why I am being ignored. I have waited for 2 months patiently for my CV and I have regularly been asking for assistance in securing a job as I am struggling. My emails are being sent but there are no replies. Even if they need more time for my CV or cannot assist me I should get an answer atleast and not just ignored. I complained about this before too, but nothing was done about it. I am not even sure if I will get any guidance in securing a job or will I be ignored like this constantly

I enrolled in this paralegal course, and it truly exceeded my expectations. What set it apart was the real-world placement at a reputable law firm. Very detailed course. Good support from staff and tutors. Did everything it was promised to do. I would recommend to anyone really weather you are a grad or someone who has not attended uni.

On the 30th of June 2023, I called the office to request that I should be allowed to take my exam. On 2nd of July 2023 you emailed me the days the exam is scheduled. After much talk, I elected to take the exam on Saturday, 8th July 2023 because that was the only date I can take the exam without additional payment, knowing full well that the exam fee was part of the total package of £1950.
On Wednesday, 5th July 2023, I called your office to ask if there is any change in the date for the exam especially when my email to you on Monday, 3rd July 2023 asking the same question was not replied. The Receptionist who picked the phone told me that you were not around. She said you may be back to the office anytime from 5pm that Wednesday. However, she insisted on knowing why I called, especially if she could help me out.
I told her that I called to know if there is any change in the examination date of Saturday, 8th July 2023. She asked If I will be ready to take the exam on Friday, 7th July 2023 instead of Saturday, 8th July 2023. I told her that I was ready and she told me she has booked me for the exam on Friday, 7th July 2023. She told me I will be sent an email by 10am on Friday, 7th July 2023 detailing everything I need to know and do during and after the exam.
On Thursday, 6th July 2023, I called severally to ask if I will still be writing the exam on Friday, 7th July 2023. There was nobody to pick my calls or give me a call back even when I left a voice note stating the reason for my call and appleaning that someone should give me a call back with an update on the exam.
Giving the benefit of doubt, I put away all other assignments earlier fixed for Friday, 7th July 2023 and I prepared for the exam. I was glued to my computer from 9am to 7pm. I neither received any mail or call directing me on how to take the exam nor did I receive any email or call telling me of the cancellation or postponement of the exam as it were. My numerous calls on Friday, 7th July 2023 were neither picked nor returned thereby leaving me frustrated and perplexed for such disappointment and insensitivity showed to the concern of a customer.
I was tempted to believe that since Saturday 8th July, 2023 was initially mentioned, the exam may still be scheduled for Saturday, 8th July 2023. I was again glued to my computer from 9am, Saturday, 8th July 2023 expecting notification of how to take the exam or announcement of the cancellation of the exam. All my calls to ask what was happening were never picked and nobody returned my call or sent an sms, email or call me.
I deserve to be told by the management of Bradstone Allington why I should be treated with such contempt, ignominy, belittlement and disparagingly when I have religiously maintained my part of the contract by paying my monthly installments even when things are difficult for me because of no job?
I deserve to be informed by the management of Bradstone Allington why it should not be responsible for the consequences of shattering my day and preventing me from attending to other very important assignments by scheduling me for two different dates for exam and never keeping to any one?
I know very well that the management of Bradstone Allington, oblivious of the consequences of breaching a contract as important as examination, I expect the management of Bradstone Allington to tell me what it would do if I were at the breach of this contract?

I thoroughly enjoyed the Paralegal Practice & Management course. The modules and structure of the course is a great introduction to start your career in the legal field. The guaranteed placement is also extremely beneficial. This course is ideal for anyone looking to start or expand their legal career!

The course was very detailed and easy to navigate through. It provided all the necessary information and really helped me on my test which enabled me to pass🥳. I had applied for a job..

Concerns: Predatory behaviour, targeting job seekers looking to break into the industry, with a £1k+ fee.

Using time pressure and the guise of employment to seek engagement with the course.

I was then contacted with a scenario that they are recruiting but I do not meet the requirements for the role and that they can put me on a course to get me job ready.. but they are actually a education provider and not a recruitment agency.

I was patient with the initial call, letting it play out as this scenario was sold to me. During the call, time pressure was applied, that the course starts next week and that I need to sign up within this week (2 days to decide).

I was then guided to a phone call with a manager (Who works for Bradstone Allington) from a number that my cell carrier identified as Resumakers.

During this phone call I indicated my red flags and concerns and was told to "Email and not waste time.", when I tried to explain I was not seeking confrontation, I was hung up on.

"Hi, I think you may have the wrong company we don't charge a £1k fee and we don't know who Resumakers are? Are you sure you spoke to one of our staff members?"

That'd be Kacper who thought it'd be appropriate to represent the company in a rude manner. (Check Linkedin)

But onto the claim of not charging 1K.. let's examine the interactions on Trust Pilot.

"Fee cost 2000"
"We charged you extra, but refunded you.."

Okay, maybe the cost isn't that high.

"Suddenly you find yourself loosing 1000"
Bradstone Allington responds not questioning the price, only questioning hidden costs...

"Accounting course which is only a sage50 cert "Almost "1k", "Waste of money."

"I would not recommend their work placement programme to anyone unless they were just looking for a reason to throw £1000 in the bin."
Again, Bradstone acknowledge the review without questioning the amount stated.

Response: I’m not sure what your issue is and the need to try slander our company online, you haven’t used or purchased our services. We help students with experience and qualifications, if this is something you’re not interested in that’s fine nobody is forcing you to join our course. If our course was free would you still have an an issue? You have intentionally gone out your way to discredit our company without any proof and assuming we are a bad company because you read some negative reviews posted during Covid-19 2020-21. So now it's not that you don't charge 1K, but that you can't offer a free service.

I'm not discrediting your company out of malice, I am laying bare the contradictory and predatory behaviour.

This might not be demonstrative of the company, but it is demonstrative of the individuals I have interfaced with. This is based on my experience and interactions .

In addition, our association is yourself presenting as a job recruiter, processing my application, then proceeding to use it to contact myself, using time pressure and social engineering "I've been selected.", as well as creating a illusion of importance "Speak to the recruitment manager". The reason for this review is your attempts to sell me your product, others should be aware.

Update: Bradstone Allington used Trust Pilot's verify feature to obtain my Email and attempt to smooth this over via email, whilst declaring how much the course does cost.. could have done that here.

Course was really beneficial as i was lacking on the practical skills needed for an accountancy type role. The course really helped me apply myself and enabled me to gain the knowledge that is required in a role such as this. Really happy and recommend this to anyone struggling to get there foot in the door.

Bradstone Allington is a great service provider for graduates who have just finished University or want to receive more training in their fields of expertise. However, for me at first i felt quite apprehensive, as I had never heard of them or known anyone else who had used their services. Reading the reviews and enquiring to others via LinkedIn is a great way of understanding what Bradstone are about, as each person has their own fair share of experiences. One area of critique for Bradstone would be that the MCQ should at least have clearer instructions, just so students know, and are aware of how to answer the questions correctly, which should be allocated in the instructions box. Overall, good expericance, i would 100% recommend it to anyone who wishes to get experience in their field of expertise, and get into the industry a lot faster, as much as grades are important, experience buys more in the industry, as the market s quite competitive and require you to entail a high level of skill.
