Appalling aftercare
I will certainly not be going to Boots Hearing, Liverpool in future and would not recommend them to anyone.
The testing and products are fine, but the after care and customer service is atrocious. After just over 12 months with Phonak hearing aids they stopped charging, so I returned them to Boots for repair. I received a phone call yesterday to say they were repaired and I could collect them. On arrival I was told to wait - after a few minutes I was handed the hearing aids. When I asked for the box and charger which should have been with them the person stormed off then returned with the items, and was very snappy with me saying that I should have made an appointment. When I explained that I had received a call to collect them, I was again told I should make an appointment. I was given no information about the hearing aid repair. There was no charge in them so I have had to come home and wait before I can check they are working.
I have had a similar level of poor customer service from Boots Hearing when I've had to buy filters from them.
My partner has hearing aids from a local audiologist and has had exceptional service, in total contrast to my experience at Boots.

Everyone is really friendly and effective
My audiologist is really friendly, professional and accommodating, providing a full demonstration of the tech available and how to get the most out of it. The same applies to the team at headquarters who communicate effectively with me and have worked to certain deadlines to get things processed in order for me to get my hearing aids quickly!
