Great night in Lakeside accompanied by 20 colleagues with Jovita and Sid hosting us. Highly recommended

Me and my partner went to boom battle bar in the o2 in London and had an amazing time all the staff were amazing specially grace on the bar she explained how the app works helped us with our drinks let us know what is on the next day we will definitely be going back

I took my partner axe throwing for his birthday and we had great fun! Andrew was our instructor and he was great, very friendly and funny and made you feel at ease and not judged (if you were quite bad at it to start with, like me)! We really enjoyed it and would go again.

Went to Boom Battle Bar in Liverpool with the family. We did the Darts and Pool. Emma was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Even though they were a little busy Emma took the time to explain how things worked and brought our drinks to us.

Visited the ipswich bar for a christmas works do on friday 19th and had the best night, was too drunk to remember any of the guys names but everyone at the bar was a legend!

Booked a staff Christmas night out. The booking agent was great- no issues there. The issues arose when we arrived.

Booked 1 hour karaoke followed by 1 hour beer ping and pool.

You have this really useful countdown timer in the karaoke tv…. Which turned itself off. When we got it turned back on one of the mics didnt work, and we were told they could fix it which could take ages, or just have 1 Mic. The implication was we broke the mic even though we didn’t pic them until the tv was turned back on again. At this point we had less than 50 minutes in the clock.

At 60 minutes we were kicked out promptly, shown a pool table and told beer ping is by the bar. After 10 minutes I got fed up, asked what was happening with the beer ping, was told at that time that they would set up. 15 minutes past the hour we were playing beer pong.

At 10 minutes to the hour we were approached by a staff member saying they needed the pool table. I said we still had time on the clock to which the girl said ‘are you going to finish your game by then?’ At which point I told her it didn’t matter and that we were going to play until our time was up.

In conclusion: they’re slow to get things set up, quick to kick you off.

We are a charity- this night came at a cost we are rarely able to afford. We lost the best part of 30 minutes of activities.

Alongside that, the toilets were rank with doors missing from the stalls.

Would I ever go back? Nope. Is it money well spent? Nope. Doesn’t have dive bar vibes? Yup.

Spend your money somewhere else. All bar one next door at least has doors on the loos if that’s something you value.

Staff are very approachable, the vibes are 10/10. Obi is full of positive energy and banter. We came here with our brother and sister in law for a double date night and it was just so good. We had so much fun at the Boom Battle Bar in Oxford Street ❤️

Was booked in Boom Battle Bar for a birthday party, with Axe throwing and a few other activities lined up.

Wanted to pass on a huge thanks to Nicole who looked after us for the Axe-throwing, plus the staff who helped out with any subsequent event bookings.

We visited Boom Battle Bar Edinburgh for putting, the Christmas brunch and darts, and the whole experience was incredibly disappointing considering we spent over £300.

The problems started with our pre-paid cocktail tree. We were told the payment hadn’t gone through and were asked to pay again, only to discover two incorrect amounts taken from my account.

Although these were eventually refunded, they remained pending for three days, leaving around £150 unavailable in my bank.

Brunch service was even worse. Our table was booked from 3:45–5:30 and in that entire time we received only 2 of the 5 drinks we had already paid for in advance, and no food at all. The food finally arrived at 5:40 – after we were supposed to be at darts and shortly before we had to leave for the theatre. One dish was stone cold, and the rest barely warm.

The remaining 3 drinks from brunch were only brought out during darts, meaning we couldn’t enjoy them properly. We even had to give one away as we had to leave.

When we asked to speak to a manager, suddenly no one was available. Staff wouldn’t listen when we tried to explain our timings or the issues, and there was no sense of accountability. The offered apology (a round of shots) didn’t come close to making up for the chaos.

The activities themselves were fun, but the service was chaotic, slow and dismissive. Overall, extremely disappointing for the price we paid.

We did axe throwing here and we had an absolutely amazing time. Caitlin was an amazing instructor she made the game feel extra fun and went the extra mile for us. Will definitely be back!!!

Lily, our server, was an angel. Very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much.
The brunch itself was a bit of a let down but that is no reflection on our server, lily

Boom battle bar was great and Charlotte was amazing. She helped us through axe throwing and stayed very patient

Fantastic experience. We started with shuffle board, with great bar snacks and then went onto axe throwing, where Izzy (our instructor for the 1/2 hour) was very sweet, helpful and full of tips. Highly recommend.

Billy was especially helpful!!
