We initially came across Bomanite at the Ideal Home Show last year and arranged for Jonathan Kaye to come to our house for a quote. Despite some questionable sales patter based on our similar experience of the Product with Crete Print at our previous home we went ahead.

Once money changed hands things went ahead at a real pace, and work began on a new driveway and patio at the back of our property. The job took around 2 to 3 weeks last May 2025, initially we were quite happy but like all garden’s movement affected the work and a large crack across our back pathway developed which has subsequently cracked all the way through the concrete to the soil. Where Mastic had been applied to the joins it has split and pulled the top layer of the colour concrete apart leaving the patio looking a mess.

We also have numerous cracks, we therefore contacted Bomanite with pictures one of which contained a picture with a ruler showing a 2-inch gap, this was dismissed initially as a crack and not covered by the guarantee.

After making it clear that this was outrageous, we were told that Bomanite would come back and take a look, however, every time we contacted Jonathan, he was either on a plane or failed to answer our call.

When we finally made contact we were told that everything was in hand. By the time October came along Jonathan stated that weather would make it impossible for any remedial works to take place until Spring.

When Spring came along, we went through the usual dance with Jonathan who promised to get someone out but as ever nothing happened. We resorted to travelling to the Ideal Home this year, once again he promised us that someone would come out. We spoke to his brother at the exhibition and having showed him the pictures, he said that this would be easy to rectify.
Sadly, after all this Jonathan told us that he had no one available and suggested I phone his contractor and he would ring back with his number, as always, no phone number was forthcoming. Luckily, we had the number anyway but despite numerous calls in line with Bomanite customer service standards we did not get a reply.

In summary our mistake was to believe that anyone allowed to sell their products at the Ideal Home would be reputable. Please save your money as once they take it, they will not care about the end result as customer service at this Company does not exist!

Met Jonathan at Ideal Home Show and decided to placed an order with Bomanite for a drive an patio. Couldn't be happier with the result and will highly recommend them!

Stay away from this sweet talking con man Jonathan Kaye. Please Please Please do not engage with this man or this company. Promised everything having come on high recommendation and left us in heavy debt with a driveway and patio which started to crack and fail within two weeks. Ruin our newly rendered house finish and failed to protect as agreed. Absolutely no foundations laid or steel mesh for strength and integrity. Contacted legal representatives who checked the status of the company which is showing in to be in debt - moves payment to another account very quickly so that anyone looking to take legal action can not proceed! Knows all the ways to avoid and will not do anything and everything to get your money and not deliver what is expected. When questioned about the faults - told us to read the contract! The workers are all contractors and rude (used garden to defecate!) who don't care at all as to the quality of work they are doing. Will talk for hours criticising and undermining the Irish driveway layers and Eastern European concrete and resin installers - but is nothing more that a con man and a confidence trickster!
Please go to anyone else (look at reviews and their work / reputation) but this company.
This man Jonathan Kaye is a crook, liar, thief and a charlatan. Claims to be an "honest Jewish Man".
Trading Standards and many other consumer organisations are on to him.

I implore you to take note of all the reviews and stay well clear of this man Jonathon Kaye.
Only after a few months, patches started to appear, and the surface began to disintegrate.
The warranty is not worth the paper it's written on,
Shame I cannot upload photos so the public are able to see the long-term result of a Company's product and services.

I'm not sure that this company even deserve one star.
When the driveway was initially re-surfaced it looked great, but after just a few months, patches of the surface started to disintegrate. I had a year of phone calls and messaging (mostly not returned), together with one site visit from one of the owners - Jonathon Kaye. Mr Kaye tried to put the blame on the concrete supplier and then said he would have to speak to the sub contractor who laid it, basically the whole drive needed to be dug up and re-surfaced, he also said that because I paid cash for the job, it was going to be difficult for him to go back to the concrete supplier. No matter what he said, nothing got done, basically Bomanite did not want to foot the bill and eventually stopped answering my calls and returning messages. Several years later, the drive looks appalling.
The date I have put on this review is incorrect because Trustpilot only allows reviews that are up to one year old. However, it is important that the public are able to see the long term result of a Company's product and services.

We met Bomanite at the ideal home they did our driveway and patio, we found them polite hardworking and the installation was quick excautly what we wanted would recommend highly

We gave this man the benefit of the doubt for over a year in the hopes that he would fix the issues - but now it is time for a review.

After countless messages and emails promising to fix the issues, I haven’t seen this man. I don’t enjoy using harsh terms for people so I won’t. However, I implore you to really do your research prior to trusting him with your money.

We got work done by his team who seemed nice enough. There were quite a lot of cracks and discolouration that appeared within just a few weeks of the work being done and we also had some other health and safety concerns that required fixing. This man promised us last year (2022) that it would he done in Spring 2023. We contacted him numerous times but he always seems to be either with his accountant or travelling. He is (to us) an incredibly dishonest and deceitful character, with a lack of consideration or kindness for others.

He took my hard earned (and honestly earned might I add) money and it just makes me sad that I didn’t get what I paid for.

This is just our experience. If you choose to go with Bomanite, I truly wish you a much better experience.

I have been looking for company who can do concrete pattern to my front driveway.
Found a company has been established for 50yrs and all they did concrete pattern almost round the world. Got in touch with Bomanite & spoken to the owner sound really positive all question answered.
He assured me that it will be ok to do concrete pattern in last week of November 2022.
The work started by Bomanite & the pattern did looks very good my neighbours like it. Bomanite owner advised me that just leave it for 2 weeks to dry up the concrete pattern and come back to sealer it & do painting but unfortunately it started to snow & got very cold didn't see tradesmen in end of January 2023 to do paint & sealer.
after having painting & sealer done, within in 2 weeks sealer & paint started come off & Gone WHITE more off concrete start to break up all over the driveway (see Photo) reported to Bomanite owner he promised to sort out.
The last instalment payment paid in December 2022. After reporting to him in January 2023, The owner of Bomanite i called him lots off time send videos not interested.
I called the contactor, they mentioned that we don’t work for Bomanite we are self-employed but he will come & fix the problem but I have to wait when its good weather & that is march 2023.
Come March Contactor turn up fixed broken concrete & resealed & painted.
Any one reading this reviews please judge it for yourself and see attached photos (1) finished product i should get) (2) what i got from Bomanite in January 2023) (3) in March 2023 the contractor came & repaired it) I paid £9000, I am not too happy about this job over all.
Bomanite assured me at the beginning that he has his own people work for him workmanship is 100% guarantee ( warranty is not worth the paper it written on)
I also found that he franchised name from Bomanite in last few years and he is X Banker and the only time you see him on site to collect the money, the customer service is zero. I would like to mention he speaks lot give you headache need paracetamol after he stop speaking & he can be rude time to time.

The contractor he is good man each time i called him I got answered, there is not any B S given all up front and he also advised me that don’t us salt on concrete it will break up the all the concrete , this worried me bit because climate we get in this country & it can be very slippery in winter.
He also mentioned that it may crack after few years, in my opinion I should had stayed with paving bricks old fashion at least I don’t need to worried about spreading the salt on it.
The outcome keep way from this company there is no warranty on their workmanship and just stay with paving bricks is the best no maintain for life.
