Lisa was easy to work with - ask great questions - highly recommend here

Initial contact with Devon was poor. He gave the sales pitch professionally, but when I started asking questions like, "What is the success rate of the average member in getting a placement?" he stopped being friendly. Instead, he said, "I gave you the information I have. Goodbye." And he hung up. Bad employee or bad business? Certainly not worth the $400 they charge to write a resume and be a member.

I got an unasked message to discuss "board membership opportunities", which makes it sound like a job offer.

In reality they get you on a sales call and pitch you their service.

In my opinion deceitful.

Most of the boards want someone in a C-level position in the same industry. That’s not possible, since it would clearly be a conflict of interest to serve on the board. The rest just want someone to open fund raising connections for them. That would be worth far more than the companies are offering in compensation.
