Visted yesterday (saturday) and I must say it was not a pleasant experience, i felt like i was a problem and inconvenience I wanted to get my tragus repierced after not putting it back in after a mri scan (my fault) but after explaining to the VERY rude sales woman ( brown hair and glasses sorry i didnt know her name) I was allergic too gold but then only being given expensive gold options and a very shoddy attitude I walked away without a piercing apparently as i was told they only pierce with gold now which from what I saw was very expensive and the choice was not nice I did explain several times I cant wear gold as iam allergic and the attitude and lack of attention got worse immediately she actually waved me off half way through rolled her eyes and ignored me to talk and make a sale with another customer and which i thought was disgusting, iam very disappointed because I have had 5 piercings here before and was offered titanium when i explained. My whole setup is black titanium mainly due to being allergic but also due to being alternative I dont want or need diamonds or pink crystals and I definitely do not need that attitude please train your staff about allergies to piercings and to treat customers with grace won't bother here again

First of all this is in NO WAy a criticism of the piercer tom yesterday, Tom god bless him went out of his way to try and sort the issue out, had the patience of a saint. I had my high nostrils pierced Sunday the 15th, I have over 18 facial piercings so I'm very familiar been pierced and aftercare. I had high nostrils pierced, unfortunately only 8mm jewellery was put in the pouncing. I got up yesterday the piercing was that swollen I was in agony and I'd had very tiny threadless bars used. I went back to get bigger jewellery. It took over an hour of pure absolute agony to try and get them out and back in. God bless Tom he tried but over an hour of repeated tapers etc in and out the nose and trying to get the new jewellery back in, hadn't felt anything like it since child birth. By the end of the experience I was ready to pass out. Unfortunately all due to not putting the correct size bars in to start with. Credit to the piercer yesterday he tried, it was just the most painful experience of my existence

I had my nose pierced and I cannot recommend this company more, I visited the Hanley store and the customer service and professionalism was out of this world. They explained everything from start to finish and the atmosphere was great.

Went in to get my helix pierced and had a lovely experience as it was my first time. Would recommend, the pain level for me was honestly a 3/10. Great hygiene and services!!

I went in on Sunday afternoon for 3 ear piercings (forward helix, outer conch and upper lobe). I didn't have an appointment but Pip was able to see me immediately. She was very professional. I was really impressed with the hygiene during the piercings. She also made absolutely sure I was happy with placement before proceeding and explained the method they use (needles, not a gun). The whole things was quick, easy and not as painful as I expected. I'm thrilled with my new piercings! My only constructive feedback is a wish that they had more silver toned earring options to choose from for the initial piercing.

The shop is really funky and all staff are welcoming and friendly. They really looked after me for my very first piercing and the aftercare is great too . Positive experience and I highly recommend them !

The Staff at the Hanley Branch are absolutely fantastic their support on the 2nd & 4th September 2025 has been flawless.
The compassion & kindness they showed us was outstanding!
My grandson has ADHD & Autism bless him & it was his first time going into the store which he found very overwhelmed, he had a few meltdowns.
The way the 3 staff that were on 2/9/25 were so attentive towards my grandson & myself was so heart warming it made our visit so magical & special.
He came out totally rigged out & his confidence shone so bright words can’t express what this has meant!
Although he waited for his boots, which he picked up today! They were definitely worth the it.
Highly recommend for a visit! 🦋
The staff will know who they are & the company should value their worth & dedication in the job they are doing for this company!
I’m totally blown away & my grandson will definitely be going back.

See my experience wasn’t that good … I wanted a nose piercing out and another in which I had bought from there but they had trouble getting it out but then couldn’t put the new one in and said who had pierced it before had done it wrong so I left with no nose piercing in atall plus they had dropped my new nose ring and said oh cant put that in now so I ended up coming out with no nose stud in I had paid a tenner for them to put the new one in they didn’t even give me my tenner back …. It was my own jewellery what I had already paid for from there … I went to somewhere else and they did it no bother

Called back as requested after my post and asked to speak to the manager. Was told that the person i was speaking to was the manager was and it was her that had spoken to me initially.
Apparently, they will only replace a piercing if it falls out after 1 day. Mine came out after 2 weeks. That Apparently is my fault. I have 16 piercings. All in my ears except for my nose piercing. NONE of them have fallen out after 2 weeks.
She told me that by brushing my hair and showering and not looking after the piercing it was not their problem. None of my other 15 piercings have fallen out in this manner.
I check my piercings morning and night as I have a lot of money invested in them to look pretty. This particular piercing cost me £40 and as I say, fell out after 2 weeks at work. I spent 5 minutes on my hands and knees when I realised it had fallen out and finally found it so I was really happy.
They said it had been stood on so there was nothing they could do.
Do you expect a piercing to fall out after 2 weeks? I don't
The only reason it got stood on was because it fell out.
Very rude service. I was asked to pop in to discuss and so I phoned to ask when the manager was in and got met with the same horrible attitude.
After I have left hundreds in their till, you would have thought that to keep a customer, a butterfly stud that I paid £40 for that probably cost them £10, they would replace it.
Shocking service. DO NOT USE.
The manager...and apparently "regional manager" that were there, have no customer service whatsoever.
