A Brilliant Experience with Blue Ape Renewables
We had our solar panels, ESS and EV charger installed by Blue Ape Renewables last month, and the whole experience has been excellent from start to finish. Before choosing them, we spoke with several solar companies, but Dave from Blue Ape was the only one who genuinely stood out. He took the time to walk us through everything, gave clear and honest advice, and even guided us step by step on how to sign up for a cheaper tariff with Octopus. It really felt like talking to someone who wanted the best outcome for us, not just a quick sale. Their quote was slightly higher than some of the others, but after seeing the quality of the work, we’re very glad we didn’t go with the cheapest option. The workmanship speaks for itself. When it came to the pre‑installation survey, Malik arrived in proper Blue Ape uniforms, which immediately gave me and my wife peace of mind. It was a big contrast to other installers who turned up looking like random people off the street. That first impression set the tone for the professionalism that followed. Malik carried out the survey with real care. He even went up into the loft to check our existing PV system at our request and made sure every detail of our request was taken into account. His thoroughness gave us a lot of confidence before the installation even began. On installation day, the team arrived on time and worked efficiently. They completed everything within a day and left the place spotless. Guy, the electrician, and his team did an excellent job. The wiring is tidy, everything is laid out properly, and the whole setup looks very well done. After the installation, both Dave and Emily followed up several times to make sure we were genuinely happy with the results and reminded us that we could contact them if anything didn’t feel right. One of the BESS units did have a communication issue over a weekend, and they replaced it immediately, which really impressed us. We’ve already shown the installation to family and friends. If anyone wants a team that delivers top‑quality work and truly looks after their customers, we would highly recommend Blue Ape Renewables!! We are really pleased with the installation and the overall quality of the work and service provided by Blue Ape Renewables.

Great experience
I searched the market for some battery storage for my solar system, and believe me that wasn’t easy. I then contacted Dave from Blue Ape who explained everything to me so much easier than anyone else before. From the first contact I had a great rapport with him and knew straight away that I was going to be well looked after. After paying a small deposit it only took a couple of weeks until the batteries (2x 5.12kw/h) were fitted. After installation the engineer talked me through how the app works and took time to answer all of my questions. Once he had left I had a call with the Emily, the Ops.Manager, who asked me if I required any further support. Truly an amazing purchasing journey and the price was very competitive as well. Thank you Blue Ape definitely 5 ⭐️ from me.

Tan and his team worked fast and efficiently installing the whole system and extra radiators.
Phil did a great job with the electrics, it wasn't a straight forward job.

I don't think I can put into words how good this company are. From the initial phone call with Dave who was brilliant in his explanation of the system and also showing me the data behind it. No hard sell which was very important to us. On to Emily who organised the install and other aspects around the whole experience. To Phil who came up and installed the battery system. Any issues which arose which were actually caused by EDF engineers were fixed by Phil remotely which was brilliant. I can't praise the team enough for what they did. The only issue now, is I can't get off the app for the batteries watching how much money we are saving. If you're thinking of Solar, Batteries or anything else this company offers, give them a call. Absolutely 5 Stars. Thank you Dave, Emily and Phil.

Different class dealing with these people…
I spoke with Blue Ape Renewables about battery storage, paid my deposit, and had the system installed. The service was excellent from start to finish. Dave explained everything clearly, especially the tariffs, and made it easy to understand. Really happy with the whole process and would recommend them.

HONEST COMPANY. Advised battery install not beneficial to me
Fast callback & an honest, extensive investigation into my electric usage, electric bills and household determined I wouldn't benefit from the outlay of battery backup as my solar usage was well balanced during the day/night already. Unlike other quotes who appear to just want to install regardless, so thanks Dave
