Lovely helpful lady, found a great coat for our son.

The staff at Blacks Salisbury were highly welcoming, and offered me useful and practical advice during my search for a pair of durable, water-proof trainers. I would thoroughly recommend the store to anyone looking for quality gear and impeccable customer service.

Went in for walking boots. Good range and their discounted prices were very competitive. Friendly and helpful staff. Would very happily recommend!

I had been looking for a quality vegan walking boot and full zip hoodie fleece for sometime without success. Visiting Salisbury for the first time I was pleased to find a large Blacks store. James was extremely helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for. Both the boots and fleece were on offer at great prices. This is a great store with very helpful staff.

Really helpful. Showed me all the different footwear options, explained about what was waterproof and how to insert a different inner sole. I felt listened to. Will go back again.

Excellent customer service - not only friendly but really knowledgeable. I made a mistake and accidentally ended up asking the guys to find pairs of shoes that I didn’t want to see - despite being busy, they happily sorted things out. I was also impressed by the way the assistants assisted one another. Clearly there is a good “team culture” in this store. The team also offered me good advice on my purchase.

Sarah helped me find the set of walking boots that would fit all my needs. After trying 7 pairs she guided to me the set that were the perfect set! All were knowledgeable on kit and the benefits of each piece of equipment. Then gave really helpful advice with rucksacks. Would definitely recommend this team for first class advice with any walking equipment at any skill level. Staff were really friendly and helpful to everyone that came in the store.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. A very positive shopping experience. We have shopped there before but this time made us want to go back there again.

I went in with a pair of Brasher Country Master boots bought in November 2022 that failed in July 2023. Not impressed. After telling James my experience he arranged for the manager to speak to me. I was allowed to upgrade to a pair of Meindl Kansas boots by paying the difference discounted by 20%. This turned my experience around from bad to positive. I have high expectations of the replacement £200 pair of boots but I have the assurance that if they let me down Blacks of Salisburys won’t. Customer service second to none.

Went to purchase an OS map for walking. Staff very helpful and identified the correct map for my intended walk, saved me a great deal of searching.

Called at Blacks to look at water bottles, all staff very helpful as I wanted some technical advice they asked James to come on to the shop floor. James is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, I left with a filter bottle ready for my next adventure.?

Not a customer, but had to pick up UPS parcel (which is very handy, instead of schlepping out to some industrial estate). Staff were very friendly and helpful, despite me having been let down by UPS's service. A nice bunch! :-)

Purchased a pair of merrell walking shoes and brasher walking trousers. Abby was helpful with having to go upstairs to the stockroom to get several pairs in 2 sizes. Had visited with a friend at the weekend, where a friend bought a jacket, served by the manager. He was at the till today and his advice taken re the trousers. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff certainly helps. Plus I got a generous discount, so even happier days. Well done Salisbury branch
