Excellent help in helping me get the right walking boots. Very patient and informative. I’m delighted with my purchase.

I was disappointed to find no Salomon trainers for sale (after 2 visits) at Blacks Newport IOW. However the salesman was very helpful and suggested I order some on-line and assured me I could return them to the shop if they were not suitable. However the trainers arrived and are great!

Welcomed by Sue as we came into the store. Sue helped us with our purchases today and served us at the till. Always a friendly store to shop in. Thankyou Sue.

Absolutely lovely people - we had to return an item that we'd had delivered with a part missing, the staff in the shop were lovely, they took the 1 back and ordered another item for us = collected and this time was exactly as it should have been.

I was looking for a decent pair of waterproof walking boots asked staff for advice was served by Fay who was more than happy to help and advised me on the various materials and waterproof levels of each material. I also have plantar fasciitis fay recommended the use of a specific insole to help with my condition and so far I have been very happy and comfortable with my new boots.

The assistant manager Mathew was fantastic in his product knowledge, brilliant customer service and sharp in response to our needs and enquiries.
His experience ensured us to get the footwear we we're looking for.
Definitely will return for more shopping experiences in the future.

My fiance and I came to Black's in Newport to get a waterproof jacket we were welcomed by Sue she had a good product knowledge, was very approachable and friendly. We had such great service we bought 2 jackets and even a towel at half price... such a bargain.

Thank you so much to Michelle and all the team for the great customer service from ordering our tent with you through to delivery. I will now always go into Blacks for camping equipment rather than shopping in other places or online. There was a problem with the distribution centre delaying delivery but fortunately Michelle knows the importance of excellent customer service and ensured great communication throughout and done whatever she could to speed up delivery. It certainly helped, Thank you!!! :) we cant wait to go camping.

Came in on this sunday looking for a new tent and had intended to look around all the camping shops in newport but a very helpful male staff member with long hair helped me in choose a new one that would be the right size for me and my 2 kids. We will defiantly come back to blacks again thankyou

Very helpful and polite staff, bought a couple of tshirts which are of nice quility.
Nice happy atmosphere and easy to find items in the shop.

We've recently had a van conversion into a campervan and have bought several items for the van in Blacks. The staff have always been very helpful and cheerful 😊. We were served by Michelle the other day and she was as happy and helpful as ever 😀 I would recommend Blacks very highly 😀.

The team were really helpful. We turned up with a voucher which didn't go through the till and the team spent over half an hour sorting it out so we could make our purchases.

Hubs popped into Blacks to pick up a pair of lightweight trousers in the sale. Service and everything was fine, small changing room and we had to wait a while before we could get in. Otherwise ok
