The assistant manager Olivia was very helpful in answering all the queries we had in regards to the equipment needed for an upcoming expedition. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products that would be required which made the experience so much easier and enjoyable. We were walked through how to use each piece of equipment properly which you wouldn’t get from shopping online and saved me so much time from having to figure it out on my own. I would definitely recommend shopping at Blacks as all the products are of great quality and the staff are very friendly.

Top marks for Liv. She was very friendly and helpful during my visit for some new trousers. The store didn’t stock the size I was after but Liv took care of ordering them for home delivery with the price matched to their in store offer. She made sure I knew about Berghaus’ lifetime warranty and the trousers turned up the next day less than 24hrs after I was at the store. A total credit to the company and I hope she is recognised by Blacks.

Liv the staff member sorted out a refund I had been waiting for, for 6 weeks couldn’t be more helpful and polite.. also helped me with a few items I was buying while in was in store.. she is a credit to your company went above what she needed to to help me and get it sorted there and then.

Liv was really helpful, she applied her product knowledge to help select the walking shoes I needed. I have been looking for several months without success and it’s great to be finally sorted.

I had bought a pair of boots and within 2 months a manufacturing fault occurred.
I returned to the store and explained what the issue was.
The staff were helpful and friendly. With no quibbles they took the faulty boots from me and ordered a new replacement pair.
To my great surprise my new boots were delivered to my home within 24 hours of me leaving the store.
Black's, credit where credit is due. Excellent service and I recommend you to anyone***** 5 stars we'll done.

Exceptional customer service by Liv! Courteous, prompt, friendly, detailed and accurate. The jacket I wanted wasn’t available in the Castleford Junction 32 store but Liv explained about the free home delivery service, so I went ahead with the purchase based on the information that my product would be delivered within 5 days. It was actually delivered the very next day! Great service all around.

I knew exactly what I wanted when I visited and was fortunate enough to find it straight away. The price was very good and as it’s a RAB product, I know it will be a worthwhile investment.

I have to say that the sales assistant, Liv, was brilliant! She couldn’t have been more helpful and even helped me use one of my outdoor clubs memberships to get a small but welcome, discount.

I purchased a range of items for hiking and Liv the sales assistant was polite, patient and knowledgeable. She took time to explain the difference between the options on offer and demonstrated when I didn't quite understand the issues.

My wife and I went to Black's at the Castleford outlet to look at waterproof jackets. We were assisted by Liv. She had a lovely personality and was extremely helpful and patient with us, as we tried on different coats and asked a barrage of questions about breathability, waterproofing, wind resistance etcetera. Although clearly busy at the time Liv made us feel that we had her complete attention and answered all our questions, giving practical examples about different garments without rushing us. We subsequently bought a Berghaus 3 in 1 Arran jacket and because of the way we were dealt with would go back to that store and highly recommend it to our family and friends. Well done Liv and well done Blacks !!
