Although Tiller Road had a…

Although Tiller Road had a refurbishment, it is still a terrible building in poor condition. There is limited gym equipment and it is in a poor state of repair. The floor in the studio was really dusty and there is not enough choice of classes. The building really needs to be knocked down and start again. It's unreasonable that the most densely populated area the Isle of Dogs has such a sub-standard council facility. We really need a proper place to play badminton.

We are very disappointed to hear of the above issues at the Tiller Leisure centre. We operate this centre along with the council but we do not own the building. I will ensure to pass on your feedback for the attention of the centre manager so they can look into the issues you have raised in regards to the gym equipment and the studio floor so these can be resolved in a timely matter.

Old man feeling young again.

Nice friendly helpful staff.Michael and Alex.clean.great atmosphere.loads of gym equipment.great facilities.and a 25m pool a bonus.😊

Better - Tiller Leisure Centre

+ Lots of machines in the gym
+ Several training classes
+ Friendly staff
+ Relatively affordable price

+- Some of the machines are old, but most are in good condition

- Benches are old (need some maintenance)
- Missing some equipment (for example there are no 12 Kg dumbells)
- Hygiene can be better, e.g men's dressing room leakage should be fixed

I haven't used the pool so no comments on the pool.

We pride ourselves in providing great facilities and activities for all ages and abilities at all our Better operated centres.
