The gym seems to be getting worse the equipment takes forever to get repaired and there is no one who helps with getting things fixed and when you do ask they never give you an answer or when it will be done they need to listen to the members as a lot of them have said they will leave unless things improve so they need to sort this out as we are paying to use the gym but they just leave it which is not acceptable not good enough very disappointed

Great staff but the equipment in gym let you down.
Constantly breaking down. One leg machine been out of order for three months, Techno guy came with part after two months, can't fix it as another part needs replacing. That will be another 3 x months. I said take it away and replace with another one he blames gym users for not using it right. Rude guy. Popular machine but only one. I go into Sobell today and leg curl out of order.
There are alot of one star reviews on trust pilot.
This needs looking at. Why!!!!
Many people have left and more talking about it.
It seems all sobell are interested in is kids soft play which is a making alot of money.
Get your act together Sobell and sort or give us a discount until you provide decent equipment.
Not satisfied. Neither are the majority of gym users.
I normally don't get a reply unless l chase.
They say same thing and nothing gets done.
Get someone to talk to people in the gym then you will know how dissatisfied we all are. 😞

I have always wanted a peak time membership, it took some time but I got the deal I needed and I am currently enjoying the newly fitted gym, less hassles and this sets me up for the day fit and well.

I try some of the machines and talked to the member of staff.

Excellent gym induction at Sobell center, very patient young man who answered all my questions and explained the equipment fully from adjustment to correct use !

I went to sobell first time to use is gym.
The gym is clean and spacious.

But the show area is a bit untidy. Need to be cleaned. I wish water pressure on shower would be stronger too.

A lovely local gym — fully equipped with a low pressure atmosphere.

Hi they need to fix the equipment a lot quicker as we have limited equipment we only have 1 piece of equipment for each body part and the leg curl has been out of service for 4-5 weeks now it needs to be fixed either they fix it quicker or we get a discount on our membership until it is fixed it is not acceptable and needs immediate action

Soft play was fantastic, kids loved it! Staff are really friendly and helpful and we had a great time there. Will go back!

The induction trainer at the sobell centre (her name is T) was absolutely amazing. She was soft spoken, took time to explain everything to me and made me feel very comfortable

Sauna still broken at Sobell centre almost 1 year.

Dumbbells go up to 38kg only instead of the standard 50kg.

Only one bench and two squat racks for a facility this size is embarrassing.

Gymnastics class qué is hard to navigate to get to the changing rooms.

£44.80 per month not bad not great. I'm here as It is relatively quite at certain times in the gym and it's within walking distance. JD gym in Enfield is much better equipped. As is PureGym Finsbury Park. Unfortunately they don't have a sauna.

Very hard to get in contact with the actual manager of Sobell centre.

The toilets reek and affect the changing room badly.

I had my induction for the gym in the Sobell Centre this morning and a lovely lady called Tee was my instructor and she was brilliant. Tee explained how everything worked in an easy to understand manner and she was happy to answer all my questions . She made me feel like I could accomplish my goals and I was so happy when I left and can’t wait to go back again. Thank you Tee .

The person answering my email just did not read the request and messed up my account. They removed memberships and added new ones which was completely inaccurate over the course of 4 weeks. I had to email multiple times, come in person twice, and then call.

The team really need to read the requests. Esher was wonderful in solving the problem at the end. But wow. What a waste of everyone's time from the original person answering my question.

Excellent service! Membership query, seemed difficult, with additional documents requests, cancelled direct debit with no clarity- cumbersome input. The service clarified everything, offered a few solution points, and I provided my own solution. They accepted it and sorted this out for me next day! Amazing

Don’t bother go to the Sobell another minus is you have to share the gym with school kids they crowd around machines taking them all up. Don’t waste your time coming here. It’s full of bullshit. It has nothing to do with junior gym it’s school kids with a teacher in the morning.

Fantastic play and excellent service by teams.

So many pieces of gym equipment are our of order . And have been for ages. Really disrupts my workouts. Thinking of moving to islington Tennis centre

Came for badminton, court itself was good. There was a spare court next to us that a couple of us waiting to play were using to hit about, and we had that spare court booked later, the earliest available slot for it. Despite us being the only people in the hall, the staff came in to take the spare court down saying that there is nothing in here till later on. They just left us with the space but no net despite them having to come back later to set it up again. I get that we didn't have it booked, but it seemed unnecessary to take this down when we were the only ones in the space. If we could have we would have booked the two courts from the start, but we were unable to book it earlier as it was not available on the booking platform. Was told this is because that space is usually used at that time, but was not this evening. Would be great if the platform could change to allow for bookings if there is the space.
