The instructors didn't have a clue and there was no structure. They refused to give a refund when I complained.

Very Disappointed So Far
I submitted my evidence for my concessionary membership and it was rejected because it wasn’t within 12 months - it was clearly dated July 2024. I have been unable to log into my account since making payment as it states it’s linked to too many accounts - I have one.
Still I wait to be able to actually book and attend .

I think they need more Zumba classes…
I think they need more Zumba classes during the day that is why I joined they have now cancelled the one on a Monday they also need more swimming only sessions

Hidden Charges
Just been charged a late cancellation fee because I could no longer attend a yoga class which I cancelled on the app to allow someone else to join.
When I quired this I was told as I hadn't cancelled 4 hours before the class I would be charged and I was just outside the 4 hour mark. At no point was I told I would be charged when I cancelled it. The response I got was just a 'sorry for the inconvenience'. Where is the incentive to cancel so someone else can go if you just get charged anyway? I understand if I just didn't turn up but I went out of my way to make a space available
I've haven't been a member that long and already received a price increase on my membership so clearly hidden changes everywhere

I think that the facilities are really good. I don't understand why there are female only sessions at peak times for 3 evenings during the week. It doesn't seem fair or necessary and makes the monthly fee not really worth it.

Good gym with a wide range of facilities. Reasonably priced fee regimes that caters for a wide range of individual requirements.
It's great that you can use your membership at other gyms nationwide.

I like the gym but classes and swimming are hard to get as they get filled quickly which is stressful and frustrating . I spend too much time on the app trying to find spaces . Also 4 hrs notice to cancel a class is very extreme. I understand an hour or 2 hrs but think 4hours is ridiculous

We feel that the four hours is a reasonable amount of time to cancel as we have to be able to offer this slot to those who are waiting and give them enough time to see that a space is available and potentially have to move around their plans to attend.

I didn’t know what to expect as we had been at another swim school for 3 years, but this class is brilliant.
The teacher, Jack, was fantastic with the kids- he was very calm, clear and engaging. The class worked very hard and really enjoyed themselves.
Looking around at other classes that were also taking place, all the swim teachers looked like they had great command of their respective classes and all the children looked happy.

I have checked your account and can see you are on a UK membership.
With this membership, you are able to use any of our centres UK-wide so if a particular activity is unavailable you can use other centres or activities.
You also have access to 7 days advance booking as a member.

Stupid charge for not attending
Ive always been using this gym! The one time i fell ill and could not attend the class you charged me! It would have been nice if this was explained to me atleast!

We are sorry to hear you were not aware of the non-attendance fee, this does form part of the terms and conditions you have to agree to when becoming a member.
If you cancel less than four hours before a class is due to begin or book and do not turn up you will incur a penalty fee.
These are there to discourage customers from booking and then not attending which prevents other customers from participating.
