Let down by the cleaning
We joined Gosling a week ago. It has many good points but it is so badly let down by its cleaning staff. The mens toilets off the changing room are out of soap today even though I reported a problem 3 days ago. My wife tells me that the ladies changing room was filthy today (it is apparently being cleaned twice a week by one of the receptionists and I am sure she is doing the very best she can but that is never going to be sufficient - changing rooms should be cleaned at least daily. At clubs to which we belonged previously, this is done just after the club closes.) And the tennis court cleaning is very poor, with piles of accumulated dirt and rubbish all around the edges of the indoor courts and a thick layer of dust on the lower shelves of all of the bench seating.

We are saddened to hear that you have not found the cleanliness of Gosling Sports Park to not be consistent with what we strive to provide.

Fantastic induction by Taya. And really nice staff in general. Good set of free weights and machines. Some areas in pool area might need a bit of TLC but generally clean. Very happy to have joined

We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your induction which was done with Taya. We are also happy to hear that you are enjoying the great equipment that is available at the Gosling Sports Park. I will pass on your comments in regards to the pool to the centre manager so this can be looked into and resolved if required. Punitive Parking!
8 months into the introduction of parking charges at Gosling Sports Centre it seems to have finally gone live with parking charges of £100! being levied from August if you don’t have a ticket.

As with most parking facilities you do have to have a ticket/permit/pay to park. If you do not have one of these, you will incur a fee.

I would love to have given this a 5 star, but staff are not altogether helpful or friendly
And to be honest I was surprised how dirty changing rooms are, but only been in them once so far so it might have been a bad day, apart from that it was an enjoyable experience

This place advertises a hydro spa pool
This place advertises a hydro spa pool. I visited yesterday and the pool was very cold which is not correct for a hydro pool which should be over 30 degrees. The pool had tiles missing and had a scum line which was very visable and would have taken months to get that bad. Will not be visiting again. Spent today in pain wirh arthritus
