Old rusty weight machines. Very limited gym and seriously out of date. It's only selling point really is the ability to use the pool. Very expensive too. Only been using it a week and have cancelled my membership for next month already as I have found a cheaper, much better equiped gym close by. Shame really. They are limited on gym space I suppose but the state of some of the machines is appalling to the point of making them almost dangerous to use.

I am very sorry to hear that the Gym equipment at the Gosforth leisure centre are rusty and dangerous. I will escalate this issue for the immediate attention of the centre manager so he can look into this and find a resolution. We appreciate you taking the time to write this feedback. Plus: Gym well stocked / equipment maintained. Negative: 1/ Showers very poor - three seconds maximum on push buttons. 2/Sauna cabin not available 11am to 4pm means difficult to access.

However, we are disappointed to hear that the showers are poor and the Healthsuite is unavailable for the times you wish to use it. If I could give a zero I would. I haven’t been to this pool for near 9 yrs due to the lack of cleanliness and poor state of pool I was surprised to see it is still in the same disgusting state. The changing rooms smelt like urinals (female change), the floor was filthy, the showers were cold and badly stayed on for 2 seconds. Was considering a membership but would rather travel further to nicer cleaner pool.

I have back problems so the member of staff who showed me a round gym surgested exuipment I could use and what possibly wouldn't be a good idea I have been to a lot of the aqua aerobics and the staff are very good and putting in exercises for me as I'm a non swimmer staff so helpful and kind a very friendly place other woman seem happy and comfortable in the space

We are very happy to hear that you are enjoying the Gym and the pool at the Gosforth leisure centre. However we are disappointed to hear that the Healthsuite has been out of order for over a week. This would normally be due to the contractors waiting for a part to replace so please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused during this time. We hope you can continue to enjoy the other activities available at the Gosforth facility until the Healthsuite is re-opened.

Wonderful classes! Great range of activities and levels. Staff super friendly. Great value for money.
Only improvement would be to have free parking- the parking on site at Gosforth Leisure centre is excellent. But would be nice to not have to worry about paying for ticket, especially when you a pay monthly fee.
Would definitely recommend!
