Great gym with sufficient equipment. Staff are very helpful and know how, especially Leah the gym instructor and Ellie the receptionist.

Kids swimming lessons here are rubbish
Kids swimming lessons here are rubbish. Some lessons the kids don't even get in the pool, they sit them on the side in their swimming costumes and show them bits of paper. Complete waste of time and money. Don't the management realise parents have to rush home from work to get to these lessons, what is the point if they don't even get to see them swim. Surely all this safety stuff could just be done on a video they could watch at home?

Complaint completely ignored after…
Complaint completely ignored after swimming class incident.
I am deeply disappointed the way Chingford Leisure Centre has hands complaint a submitted following an incident during one of my son’s swimming classes. The incident itself was concerning enough, but what made the experience worse is the complete lack of response from the management team. This is simply not good enough for a facility that is trusted with the safety and wellbeing of its customers including children.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially the young girl on the front desk who I have asked advise on many occasions. The other customers are all helpful and friendly when using the gym everyone helps each other. The classes I have attended have all been really good, although I am new!!! Hoping for some results 😁

The staff are brilliant
The staff are brilliant, kind and very helpful. I really like the 'no-nonsense' pool and waterobics classes at Chingford.
I've yet to use the refurbished gym but it looks like a place I want to try.

Going gym here is amazing
Going gym here is amazing. The guy who helped me with my introduction was nice and fast in doing so. The other activity’s here are also wonderful like swimming or others. Overall this place is the best place ever to go

Fined for walking through an open gate at Chingford?
I have been told I failed to attend a class and am blocked from booking further classes unless I pay a fine. However I have attended all my classes or have cancelled within the time limit when I haven’t. I found the letter aggressive and it left no room for error. In the end I had to drive to the centre to dispute it so I could join classes that could easily have been full had I not done so. This cost me time and money and it has left a sour taste in my mouth about Better. They need a large sign to
make sure we all know that walking through the gate if it’s open will produce a fine. Also the letter needs to allow for error on their part.

Perfect family orientated company
A very lovely company who always make time for myself and my kids at their facilities. Their swimming instructors are top class and we are always made to feel welcome and supported.

Good place to swim
Good place to swim, if you'll go at the time around 3 - 4 pm (as I'm doing) there is enough space to swim with no interruptions (2-3 trucks - the rest for kinds that have a swimming lessons). The thing I'm not happy with is that many parents are coming in the the changing room without taking their shoots off, and there is noone who would ask them to do it. One more thing: many of them parents are standing right by the swimming pool entrance (between changing room and swimming pool) and this space is always so crowded - they've got seats at the upper floor, where they can watch their kids... the same situation - there is noone who would ask them to do so.
