Simao was simply amazing, having called up the centre, not expecting to have the issue resolved I was extremely and pleasantly surprised. The best Staff and Instructors make the gym experience fun everyday.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Premise is maintained well and clean.
Instructors are the best one could ask for. Especially Marcus, Cordelia, Gideon, Charles and Sam. These are instructors whose classes I have attended.
Age and ability is not an issue and all instructors accept the variety to provide alternatives.
Atmosphere is great so I look forward to going to the gym everyday

My experience as a new member
I recently joined the Better Burnt Oak gym as an older very unfit person and was immediately made to feel welcome in all the classes I have attended. The instructors I have had so far, Cordelia and Gideon have been really great. They both have encouraged and motivated me. I really look forward to joining their fun and friendly classes each week.

"Unveiling the Reality: My Experience with the UK's Gym Culture, People, and System"
At 2:40 pm on a Sunday, I was informed by the gym staff that it was closing time, despite the posted closing time being 5 pm. As a result, they had closed the main toilet facilities and directed me to an alternative one. Unfortunately, the alternative restroom was in an unsanitary condition, with an unflushed toilet, foul odors, and visible dirt. When I raised my concerns, the staff reiterated that the gym was closing and they needed to clean, though I have witnessed similar issues in the past. As mentioned in my previous reviews, this is a recurring problem with the same explanation offered each time.

Joining Better Gym
Joining Better Gym has been straight forward. Customer Service was very helpful in answering my queries on completing certain parts of the joining form that I did not understand. The staff at the leisure centre that I attended has also been helpful. Whilst starting my first fitness programme my instructor was very patient with me getting used to using the gym equipments after not using them for so long and he calmly answered all my questions.

The gym was clean and aired. Good few gym equipment to work at.
I suppose busy time might be different but for someone who can come during mid mornings it is good.

Almost impossible to book a class…
Almost impossible to book a class waiting list should be in order of who booked first not sending an email out to every one so you constantly have to keep looking at your emails especially when you are at work it would be better for the next person in line to receive a text and and if they do not reply within 15 minutes it moves to the next. Should offer more days for Pilates & Zumba as they are the most popular

All fitness classes become available for booking seven days before the scheduled class date and the waitlist feature provides an equal chance for all members who opt to join the waitlist to participate in the class.
Your feedback regarding more Pilates and Zumba classes will be passed on to the staff at our Burnt Oak Leisure Centre and I hope this will improve your visits to our centre.
