Friendly and informative, did not feel pressured. Would definitely use again

It was a frustrating experience, after ordering a bed and roll up mattress we found that the total bill was incorrect, we were being charged twice for delivery for each item (£78 in total), even though they were ordered together, eventually the store manager removed one of the delivery charges but it took a while to get there.

Bought the Tech Motion electric adjustable bed as my wife is disabled. Cost was rather high at £2749 although the salesman assured us that we could claim the VAT back after filling in a claim form. This was not true, the bed is not considered suitable for the disabled and was not eligible.
The mattress is split into 2 singles and it is very difficult to find sheets to fit. They are too small for the frame and tend to slide off at night as there are no side restraints. On removing the mattress covers to wash, we were disgusted to see the filthy, cheap and nasty quality of construction. Honestly, if these were for sale for £20 at a boot sale I would walk away, I have never seen anything like it. This is not a premium bed and a complete waste of money since we now have to look for replacement mattresses. Unlikely that we will ever walk into a Bensons store again after this experience.

Thr deliver men were very helpfull and understanding they Evan took my purchase up stairs for me also I asked them to remove there shoes as I had new white carpet

Went into the Tunbridge Wells stores and received excellent customer service from Liam and his associate. Very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Didn't badger me when I went into the store, just let me look around at my own pace.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish.
I was looking for a mattress and visited several stores to compare. each time I went to the Tunbridge Wells branch the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. When I eventually went to buy the mattress unfortunately the price had gone up so I asked the assistant if they could contact me if the price came back down which after a week they did as promised. I also had some serious reservations that the mattress may not fit up the stairs to my attic room and they confirmed by email that if it didn't I could have a full refund. Delivery was a long 5 weeks but I was kept regularly up to date and the mattress arrived exactly on the day originally promised. I can't praise the delivery guys enough. It was a real struggle getting the mattress up the stairs but to their credit they managed it where I can imagine somebody less accommodating would just have given up.

The service I got from start to finish was excellent from ordering on the phone to delivery all was very helpful and kind. That’s what we want more of in this country will done bensons.

Previously , My Wife & I purchased a Hybrid double bed with 4 drawers from you and the Female sales assistant was very helpful pointing out that we could have two large draws and two smaller drawers so we if we had bedside cabinets, we could still open them. So when we needed a single divan bed with mattress and two draws, we made a further visit to you but found the male sales assistant not so helpful i.e. the single beds are over there. The delivery charge and set up charge adds another £60:00 , which is a lot of money, so we chose to set the bed up ourselves and are aware that some firms include free delivery. But otherwise found the product we purchased satisfactory.

Needed a new mattress because our current one is too hot. The sales person was knowledgeable and quick to understand our needs. We had purchased a suitable one within half an hour having tested out six or seven others.
