The staff in the Southport store were…
The staff in the Southport store were very friendly and yet thoroughly professional.
This resulted in us buying a bed that completely fits our needs.
The delivery service was excellent.
Howard and Inigo arrived spot on time. They both worked diligently getting the bed upstairs with little fuss. They also put the bed together. They too were very professional about the way they went about their business.

The service in the store was good
The service in the store was good, but I cannot say the same for the delivery service: the new mattress was delivered on time and it was placed on my bed, as per the terms of the £50 delivery service. However, after several sleepless nights as the mattress was extremely hard, unlike the one I tried in the store, I discovered by chance that the label stating the firmness was upside down, so the mattress waa placed the wrong way up. I almost spent a lot of money on a mattress topper, but it was sheer luck that I discovered the truth. A very poor but expensive delivery service which would put me off using this store again.

Good experience
Ian, the manager at southport was informative and helpful and not "pushy" which was appreciated. He seemed genuinley to want the best bed (mattrass) for me.
The delivery process went like clockwork and the two guys were quick and efficient.
OverallI couldn't criticise any aspect of Benson's service, hence the 5*

Excellent from beginning to end!
Excellent service from beginning to end. Lovely young woman helped us select the appropriate headboard in the Southport store. Delivery was on the date promised with regular up dates and then phone calls the day before and the day of delivery. Courteous and helpful young man on the day of delivery respectful of our property. The headboard looks great.

Great service all round from start to finish. Had to wait 3 weeks for the headboard and another pillow but was kept informed as to the delivery date for this. Will be using again, delivery guys were excellent - nothing was too much trouble.

you would sell more mattress if it was free disposal of your old mattress and free delivery i would have put that money towards a more expensive mattress

Spoke to a kind customer Service…
Spoke to a kind customer Service advisor at Southport shop on the phone. She helped me order 2 wardrobes and gave options for finance. But was disappointed with the finance company who asked for proof of identity by scanning my passport. Don't trust anyone who asks for copies of important documents unless their government departments. Still have not sorted finance but the woman I spoke to said I could try again. Might have to cancel if I am unable to get finance.

The shop staff were very friendly & helpful. I explained my biggest problem was as my partner is disabled I was worried in case the bed was not delivered when agreed in case I had removed the old bed ready. I was told I could pay for them to remove the bed when they brought the new to ensure this didn’t happen. When they arrived with the new bed they said they couldn’t take the old bed (which I bought from Bensons years ago). because it was electric- yet I was receiving a new electric bed. As we have a lift in one bed room & storage in the small one there was nowhere to store eight massive boxes. So they were put in my small kitchen & hallway. This left me to dismantle the old bed & do 4 trips to the tip with my little trailer before putting together the new bed. I just managed to get it sorted by bedtime. Never again!!
The shop staff refunded my removal money & said they would follow this up for me.
