From the salesperson (Viv), who didn't try to sell us the most expensive bed but suggested the best fit for our needs, to the excellent delivery people, the experience of purchasing a bed was fantastic. The bed itself is very well made and looks great in our new house. I would recommend anyone to buy a bed from Bensons Livingston.

From the time of order to delivery, I was kept informed of what was going on and if I wanted to make any changes. On the delivery day, I was called ahead of time when the delivery was being made within my time slot. So overall, a great experience.

Went to another bed store first then got fed up with salesman hounding my wife and I, so ended up walking out and went to benson store and I was approached by a salesman he new when to stay with us and new when to leave us, “good salesman”

First class service from staff member explained product very well. Kept up to date with delivery times arrived on time.

The ordering of the bed was so easy and the options were clearly laid out. The delivery was swift and I was kept informed, a phone call prior to attendance. The two delivery men were polite and helpful and put the bed into the room of choice

The staff were soooo helpful. Helped me choose the best bed for my back. Nadya (I think) in Livingston was an angel, I came in one night just before closing (sorry) and she was super helpful. I left that night after buying the right bed. Explained everything well and in detail. Recommended to everyone. Great care packages too. Promote her she is so fantastic!

Well pleased with new bed went from a double to a king size and it's big like the elephant in the room. Had to move furniture around in a showroom setting you don't realise how big or how high your new bed is I would advise you to measure your bed space and take a measuring tape with you we never done that. The delivery guys are really good I paid to get them to build ours they were at it an hour and took all the packaging away as there were a lot we have storage under ours which is a fantastic space.

Delivered on time and professionally

I purchased a divan bed and mattress from the Livingston branch. I was assisted by Vivienne a lovely lady with superb customer care skills and also very knowledgeable in the Company products.
This made my shopping experience even better as I suffer from anxiety and panic. Vivienne made me feel so at ease and nothing was to much trouble. I actually felt quite relaxed while making my purchase. Thank you Vivienne for a lovely shopping experience .

Very good timely manner efficient and tidy workers

We recently purchased a mattress from this company are deeply disappointed by the deceptive sales approach and lack of upfront transparency regarding their exchange policy.

After sleeping on our initially selected firm mattress for one night, we realized it was too hard and that a medium-firm version would suit us better. When we requested an exchange, we were informed that switching to a different version would cost us an additional 10% of the total mattress price and because of their strict policies, we cannot get a refund either.

What makes this unacceptable is how the sales agent handled the transaction. He verbally walked us through every single pricing detail, perk, and discount upfront, but intentionally omitted this 10% exchange penalty. While we later discovered it is technically buried in the documentation, the agent completely bypassed it verbally while explicitly listing all other financial terms.

Omitting an expensive penalty while pretending to lay out all the costs feels like a deliberate tactic to close the sale without scaring off the buyer.

The mattress quality is okay, but the customer service and sales ethics are incredibly disappointing. If you buy from this company, do not rely on what the sales agent tells you face-to-face. Demand to see the fine print and check for hidden fees before handing over your card.

All staff very helpful and friendly. We have bought several beds from Benson's recently, and the service has been excellent. Had the beds made up by Benson's staff, great job every time. Found all experiences positive and easy to arrange.

Great experience in the shop. The sales assistant explained every step very clearly. Delivery was excellent and paying for the bed to be built was well worth it. Would highly recommend.
