They listen to our needs and didn't pressure us to make a choice as we made a bad decision about a mattress before Angela from the new chelmsford store was lovely she did us a great deal on a new mattress

Excellent. Second mattress we’ve bought in the last year from Benson’s in Chelmsford and had great sales service & price both times.

UODATE: Sadly an awful delivery driver - upon arrival I began to explain where I wanted the mattress but he cut me short and said “it’s ok we know what we’re doing”. I explained it was a little awkward and again he interrupted me and said “we’ve been doing this 30yrs mate”. I then tried to show him the tricky entry and turning staircase. He just kept saying “we know what we’re doing” and more or less barged past me with the mattress like he was in some sort of Olympic event. I stopped him and said that I appreciate he may have other deliveries but his attitude was quite rude and all I wanted was 10 seconds to explain a couple of things. To be interrupted each time I spoke showed zero respect for the customer and will stop me using Bensons in future. Resented handing over my £50 delivery cost to him. An awful man to have represent your business. Find another delivery driver urgently.

Very helpful and had a sale so we got a very good discount they just couldn’t be more helpful !!!

I was told I had bedbugs and they could not take away my old bed. Therefore my new one could not be delivered. I had my carpet removed, pest control round and they said I’d had carpet bugs at some point which are very treatable. I asked to cancel my bed as I now needed new carpets and was refunded less 20%.
I felt this was unfair due to the stress of being told I had bedbugs.

When we entered the store we were greeted by a member of staff who was very friendly and polite and allowed us to look around on our own but too let them know if we needed any help. When we asked a member of staff for advice the and advice they gave was very helpful in helping us to decide on what we wanted.

The lady who looked after us did everything she could to get us the best deal and we came away with a great product.

The sales lady was so nice
She was helpful without being pushy. I've been looking for wardrobes for so long and it was becoming a chore. Then I went to bensons and made my own wardrobes. I could pick how many doors, racks and shelving. So I got exactly what I wanted. A very professional and friendly sales person makes all of the difference Thank you Dani.
