Months of delay, countless hours wasted, and furniture with defects
I purchased four chairs with cushions and a table from Bellelli in December 2022. The order confirmation indicated delivery within 7 to 12 days. Three weeks later, no news, I contact customer support using the email they provided. After a few days without an answer, I call their landline. Starts a grotesque back and worth with Bellelli: someone called Luca picks up the phone, has little clue why the order is delayed, but assures me it will be sent the following week with details by email; comes the following week, no news, I ring again, promises for a few days later, nothing happens, I call again, etc. This whack-a-mole game lasted for weeks, with many mails and over half a dozen phone calls.
Fast forward almost two months after purchase, I finally receive my order around mid-February. Unfortunately, the table has big spots on it, the cushions have visibly already been used, and half the chairs have manufacturing defects, blobs of dirt seemingly having been moulded in the plastic. Ever since, Bellelli has been unresponsive to my emails, and Luca claims he hasn't heard back from the manager each time we call him.
I filed a complaint with the Italian consumer agency in charge of these kind of disputes: they managed to contact Bellelli only once, with Bellelli promising they would get back to them, but they never heard back and have since been unable to contact them either by mail or by phone. Even an official body can't get them to comply, it says a lot.
Other reviewers on Google have apparently had problems as well, you've been warned.
