Appointment rearranged twice
Appointment rearranged twice. Room dedicated to audiology hot and oppresive. Locum only available on one day a week. First ten minutes spent trying to fix software on the phone to call centre. Room and seating arrangement not ideal for taking hearing test, had to pull chair up close to laptop to do test.

They have an excellent audiologist who takes time to explain there products, tests hearing capacity and gives advice. Customers can call anytime to lleave hearing aids for regular check-ups at no charge.

Disappointing Audiology Experience
This was my first time meeting a new audiologist. He didn't know the reason for my appointment (annual checkup). He adjusted my hearing aids and said everything would sound louder but it would settle after a couple of days. I struggled but by the second day I could not hear properly and was getting terrible feedback in the right ear. I rang the Morpeth branch on 14th of May and was told the only available appointment was Friday 16th. I had something booked in that day for which I had paid in advance. I was told this was the only appointment as the audiologist would be on holiday for 2 weeks. I was offered an alternative in Barnard Castle but then was told that wasn't available either.
I took the appointment on the 16th. I was told that the left hand hearing aid wasn't working and this was corrected. The feedback was adjusted, although I was told this had been done at the first appointment I don't believe it was.
At both appointments I requested replacement rubber ear buds (the bit that actually goes into the ear. At both appointments I was told the size I need were not in stock. I asked if someone could ring me when they were in stock and 11 days later I have not had a phone call.
I have always been delighted with my hearing aids and the service I received from the previous audiologist. I am extremely disappointed. This has caused discomfort, inconvenience and the cost of a course. Just very disappointing and not the service I had come to expect
