Professional, thorough and courteous

Eye examination very brisk with no mention of developing cataract nor tendency to high pressure in eye.

#Both of these items were raised BY ME with optician responding with little more than “O it’s alright” and giving impression of wanting to finish examination as quickly as possible.

Poor fitting of spectacles following long wait for fitting.

I have paid for my son's sun glass lenses to be replaced, but they were not in store for his appointment. We heard nothing and then found that the shop in Leamington is closed for more than 3 weeks for refurbishment. By then, he will have gone back to uni and we will have waited for weeks. He has been a customer for many years, but I won't be parting with my money or expensive frames again

I paid over £600 for a set of prescription lenses to be fitted to my existing frames. Then was told I had to wait another 2 weeks for them to be returned for ‘fitting’. Then I’m told that despite an excessive fee for my lenses I have to wait another further 5 days for my glasses. I go way on Saturday. No
Glasses. Unacceptable and I shall be leaving Bayfields

One hearing aid was damaged and had to be replaced. The Audiologist was not due to be on duty again for some days. Paul, from the opticians part of the business immediately took control and ordered a new hearing aid. Other staff members assisted with expediting the order. Upon his return to work Shahnoor Mohiddin pursued the order and arranged an appointment to fit it. Apart from a delay caused by the delivery company -beyond the control of Bayfields -everything worked seamlessly. Mr Mohiddin carried out appropriate tests to ensure that the device worked correctly. He also assisted with my insurance claim, confirming that the original device was damaged beyond economical repair. An excellent team effort.

Didn’t have to wait to see the optician at all. She was very friendly, did a very thorough check of my vision and eyes and even did a referral to my GP for dry eye drops. Great service!
