New glasses were not usable, double vision. Checked prescription told ok but glasses not set up correctly so they sent them away for new lenses. New lenses were better but not good. Told to use them for 3 weeks so my eyes would get use to them. I found I was taking glasses off as they did not help. Returned for a refund which they gave me without question.
I have since found an independent opticians who changed the type and make of the lenses, altered the angle of the glasses, checked and rechecked the fitting.
I can now see clearly again. This took less than a week whereas it was 12 weeks using Bayfields.

Very welcome from the minute I entered the shop, coffee was offered and just a short wait for my appointment.
The ophthalmologist was extremely professional and took his time in testing my eyes, very relaxing.

After my eye examination I browsed the glasses without the usual pressure you get in other places.

I really felt like a customer and not part of a conveyor belt.

I was seen on time. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I felt relaxed. The optician was efficient and very pleasant. I didn’t need any new glasses but there was no hard sell to get me to update my original ones and they noticed that the arms on my reading glasses were loose and tightened them for me. Really nice opticians. I’ve been going for years and would not go anywhere else. I would thoroughly recommend them
