The bank blocked access to my account and are refusing to give me access to my funds until they verify with "their internal team"--whatever that means. After multiple attempts to speak with supervisors I am still being told they are working on it and they have to wait until it is resolved. I am hoping I do not have to take legal action but as soon as my access is restored I am closing both of my savings accounts and will never deal with them again.

I opened a checking account not even a month ago and I tried to zelle my landlord my rent money and bask bank restricted my account for that. I contacted customer service and they are no help. They all say the same thing like they are reading a script. I have to access to my funds so I filed a complaint against them with the OCC and the CFPB. Bask bank is the worst bank ever

I tried to transfer money out of my Bask high-yield savings account and found out, with no warning, that my account had been marked dormant. I called customer service for help, and the representative (Eduardo) couldn't activate the account or resolve the issue during the call. He told me I had to send a message instead, and that activation could take up to 2 business days. There was no explanation for why the account went dormant or why I wasn't notified in advance. If you're thinking about opening a high-yield savings account with Bask, keep in mind that you might not be able to access your money right away, even if you call.

I opened a simple checking account on 6/1/2026 and transferred an opening deposit of $16.00. Bask Bank, has not allowed any activity to be done, since day one. Now, it has been 19 days. I cannot make a deposit, I cannot make it withdraw. Bask Bank will not let me close the account. I have called 14 times. I was sworn that someone would call me and no one has at all. At this point, they are holding my money without my consent. This is fraudulent & considered theft.

Had an account with them for a short time. Now I regret it. Just got a security breach letter from them. That’s highly alarming coming from a bank.

Received a letter last week concerning a security breech where both my name AND my SSN were compromised. So what do they offer? Two years of credit monitoring. Meanwhile I now have a lifetime of potential identity theft and financial fraud to worry about.

Sent them a secure message and asked to close my account and not even the hint of an apology from their customer service. I don't care what kind of interest rates they're offering, stay far away from this financial institution, unless you do want your personal information plastered all over the dark web.

More evidence of a poorly run company. I just received a letter from Bask Bank telling me they had what they called "an isolated security incident". This incident was a DATA BREACH where my NAME and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER were involved. But now the letter says "Our systems continue to operate normally and securely". I don't ever want their NORMAL again!!!

When I opened a CD it said they would notify me before it matures so that I take out the money in time, or it would just roll over into a new lower interest rate CD and you'd have to pay a penalty to get the money. They never notified me, but thankfully I was on top of it and got the money. Also here it is March 2026 and they still haven't sent me a 1099, nor can you obtain one on their site. I emailed customer service, first they said they're working on it. I recently emailed again and no reply.

Customer service is a total chaos. Do not solve issues at all. Referred over 10 times to fraud dept saying they will call me. For the last 3 months I am still waiting for their call so I can solve my issue with my funds. I am not asking any favor or for money just regular services on my three accounts and it has been impossible. Today I gave up on these Clowns. Closed my accounts and transferred funds to my new bank, By the way, better interest rate yield.

I have had so many problems with this bank. I have been with them for about a year with a checking and savings account and multiple CDs. The biggest issue is that they decline all charges from outside the US. I have a subscription fee from Canada and I have to call them every month to get it to go through. It usually takes at least a half hour. Each representative gives me a different solution. This is just the tip of the iceberg with this bank. I have never had to work so hard to manage my bank accounts.

This bank is not safe for your deposits!
They confiscated by savings account monies without cause. It seems their protocol gives individual customer service representatives the power to prevent an account holder from access to the balance. My experience was motivated by an angry representative who did not like my attitude when I called in with a complaint about updating my account. Representative simply pushed the button to freeze/confiscate my monies. I was refused to even speak with management, they are crooks.

I thought this would be a good option for a bank but Absolutely NO. 1st they closed my account for not adding funds within their time frame while I was getting my crypto access together for transfer. I tried opening a new account. 1st tried their app. I got to address verification and their system would not allow their pop-up to scroll. Programming issues that they are aware of but not willing to fix. I called numerous times. I tried in addition to their app, Google, Duckduck, Firefox and Brave. None of these would allow me to add an account but yet this was how I established my 1st. This is outrageous to out and out right over look their own programming error. With all these strikes in place I think this is someone saying Don’t use this bank. What else are they overlooking???

This bank has the absolute WORST WEBSITE I have ever used! They must have trouble keeping Webmasters because they are CONSTANTLY changing their Web page. Instead of making it better, they make it less user-friendly and more chaotic every time!

I have had a ridiculous experience trying to open a checking account with Bask Bank. Despite having great credit and doing everything by the book, I had to call them once a week for three weeks for them to approve my application. Each time they told me that it had been approved but someone forgot to process it. Finally on the third try, I told them I was going to sit on the phone until it was approved. 10 minutes later - the account was live. I had to request a debit card twice -- once over the phone and once over the ap. They told me it would take 15 days to get to me. The card never arrived and then about a week later, they closed my account without asking me for inactivity. Truly frustrating by how much time this required of me only to end up with a closed account.

Once transfer is set up, it is easy to work with. Recently added a checking option, which is convenient, but the savings options are excellent.

Rude and incompetent employees (Joaquin). Left a message to have a manager call me back and I never received a return call, that was four (4) business days ago. I even replied to his email on 2/27 and he never replied to my email. DO NOT Bank with this Company.

Great savings interest. Kept well appraised of rate changes. Only issue is applying for CDs is tedious when they have all my info already with savings acct.

Terrible customer service, you can only make 3 internal transfers. Debit card has to be requested. I’ve had accounts at capital one, discover, cit, Ufb, everbank and never had any issues. If you like to invest in crypto or stocks, stay away from this bank.

The worst bank to bet your money out of. They have more hoops than a 3 ring circus!!

My experience with Bask Bank has been good overall. The account setup was fairly easy, and the website is straightforward to use. Transfers work as expected, and customer service is always responsive. There were a few minor inconveniences, but nothing major. A solid choice for saving.
