this is a serious bike shop. Everyone there from the mechanic to the front of house guys, just gets it. It was an absolute pleasure to get our bike there. Nothing silly just exactly what we needed.

Excellent service from Ed. Quickly sorted out a minor brake leak and swapped brake pads out despite having a stack of bikes to work through on a busy Saturday.

My poor review is not a reflection of the mechanics, the mechanics seems knowledgeable and lovely.
They need to work on their FOH, wish I got the name of the gentlemen I dealt with on the phone. Completely rude, dismissive, and deflective.
Dropped my bike off for a service and didn't receive any updates from them for days, the confirmation email has a caveat that says your bike might not come back the same day it was dropped off so I thought they were still working on it. I called three days later to learn that they were meant to contact me to suggest all the repairs that needed to be done. There were no attempts of contact and when I had called, I asked some questions for clarification and it was obvious that the FOH was just disinterested to be helpful and was deflective in being unable to answer any questions given there are no mechanics around that day - my questions weren't even technical... it was more administrative. There is just a better way on how to deal with a customer.

When the staff is ready to serve you, they will be with you to help and advise you until you have all your questions answered. Very nice service and never feel pressured to purchase anything unnecessarily

Great bike, not great service. Took a lot of chasing to confirm the bike had arrived and was ready for a test ride. After the test ride I waited whilst the mechanic fitted the mudguards, only to discover they had the wrong mudguards (and were fitted poorly). After re-ordering the correct mudguards, arranging to get them fitted at a convenient time was difficult, so I ended up fitting them myself.

It’s a shame - the staff are very friendly and knowledgable, but when spending over £1,500, I’d expect a bit more “joined up” customer service.

Everyone was really helpful and knowledgeable, from first phone call to test drive and then collection. I was unsure about size, setup and how it worked with cycle to work scheme. I initially phoned the Hackney branch which is closer to me, but received little information or help, but when I rang the Islington branch I received lots of information.

Lovely people, good selection of bikes, and frequent sales & discounts make this a great bike shop. The workshop is also great, they did a good job with assembly and it's nice to have a single place to both buy and service the bike.

I bought Madison shorts which are comfortable and stylish. Super friendly guy in the shop helped me find the right pair. Excellent service and a good price. Thank you.

Very friendly staff. Let me use the free bike pump outside and found out about their regular community bike rides. Very happy to come again when my bike needs its brakes changed.

Long at the Islington store was very kind, patient and helpful throughout the process of test-riding, selecting the bike and accessories and then picking it up. He paid meticulous attention to the order and ensured all items were handed over appropriately.
