Aviasales doesn't help when their partner seller scams you. Reputation means nothing.

I bought a plane ticket for my mother through Aviasales. They directed me to their partner seller – Turna.com. I trusted Aviasales, clicked their link, and paid. The money was taken from my card, but I never received the ticket. No email, no confirmation on the website.

Turna.com doesn't respond through any channel:

Their live chat was closed without solving anything

Emails go unanswered

Their phone line is dead

I contacted Aviasales support asking for help – after all, they were the ones who sent me to this seller. And this is where it got really frustrating.

What did Aviasales actually do?

They spent days emailing me back and forth without solving anything

They shifted all responsibility to me ("check with the airline", "check your spam folder", "wait 14 days")

They asked for the same screenshots multiple times, pretending not to see them

They actively discouraged me from filing a chargeback – the only real way to get my money back

They completely ignored the fact that the flight was the next day

The result:

My money is gone to Turna.com, no ticket issued

I had to buy a second ticket from another agent (trip.com) with my own money so my mother wouldn't miss her flight

The airline confirmed over the phone: there is NO booking from Turna.com

Aviasales never stepped in to help

My conclusion: Aviasales promises "verified sellers" with nice words, but when something goes wrong, they hide and blame the customer. They don't care about their reputation.

Advice to others: If you buy through Aviasales – be prepared to deal with any problems completely alone, even if the seller turns out to be a scammer. Aviasales will not help you.

Outstanding support! Aviasales helped me resolve a difficult dispute with an agency.

I have been using Aviasales for years, but this time I truly experienced the value of their support team. I had a serious issue with Mytrip agency regarding missing baggage. For two weeks, the agency ignored my requests and refused to fix their own technical error.

I contacted Aviasales support, and they immediately stepped in. They pressured the agency and helped me escalate the case to the executive level. Thanks to Aviasales' intervention, the agency admitted their mistake and covered the cost difference for the baggage. I am incredibly grateful to the team for not leaving me alone in this situation. Aviasales is a reliable partner that actually protects its users. Highly recommended!

simple and functional

I often use Aviasales when I want to find flight tickets quickly. I like the clean layout and the fact that it shows a lot of budget airlines that don’t always appear on other platforms. Price comparison is easy and fast. Sometimes the cheapest option disappears once I click on it, but that happens pretty much everywhere. It’s one of those tools that just quietly works and saves time. Not perfect, but very practical.

No ticket, no refund, and no response for 10 days. Be careful!

On July 13, I was in Seoul (Korea) and decided to buy a ticket to Da Nang. I’ve been using Aviasales exclusively to buy tickets for many years. I found two tickets at a good price, and on one service the payment didn’t go through, but on the other—Wingie—it was successful. At the bottom, it said “Trusted sellers.” Since Aviasales said so, I assumed there would be no problems.

On July 14, I arrived at the airport. At the check-in desk, I was told I wasn’t in the system. I had already downloaded the Wingie app and decided to call them. A robot answered, asked for some of my details, processed the information for 30 seconds, then wished me a nice day and hung up.

In the app, I found a chat (I have screenshots but can’t attach them here).

Chat 1: They offered to call me back and said they would pass my number to “friends who speak Russian.” They didn’t answer my question about where my ticket was. I want to mention in advance—no one ever called me back, not immediately and not even two weeks later.

Chat 2: I started a second chat and immediately asked them not to disconnect. The only responses I received were “please wait,” “don’t go,” and I kept replying that I was still there. After 20 minutes, the chat ended automatically and offered to help with something else.

Chat 3: The chat started disconnecting as soon as I asked anything.

Then I found a Russian number and called. A man answered and immediately called me by name, which means they already knew what had happened, even though I hadn’t given that number before—I had used a different one in the form. I was told to buy another ticket and that my ticket didn’t exist. “You need to buy a new ticket, okay, goodbye.”

At the same time, I was receiving emails with receipts and even invitations to check in for the flight. So the service was acting as if the ticket really had been purchased.

I had to buy a new ticket at the airport check-in counter 15 minutes before it closed, at double the original price.

My first question is for Aviasales, because this really hurts their reputation—they are the ones choosing such sellers and putting “trusted” next to them.

My second question is: how do I get my money back? The same guy from support recognized me immediately the next day when I said I missed my flight. He said they had already sent a request to the airline and transferred the money, and they would pay me when the airline paid them. But I was told that no ticket had been purchased at all, so the money should be returned to me immediately. I asked for an official letter confirming the dates (because I don’t trust verbal promises from such companies), but they refused and told me to just wait. They told me to wait two days. It’s been ten days.

What should I do, how can I influence this? How do we make sure companies like this don’t exist—not just on Aviasales, but anywhere? Where can I complain? Where can I post about them?

On July 22, 2025, I contacted Aviasales support. They said they would reply within 72 hours. It’s been nine days. Wingie told me the review was in progress—and then silence. Instead of waiting two days for a refund, it’s already been seven. Mentally, I’ve already said goodbye to the money. I just want to help others: always buy tickets only on airline websites, that’s the most reliable option. And Aviasales, with their “trusted” label, won’t help you solve your problem.

On July 25, 2025, neither Aviasales nor Wingie has responded to me, so I’m leaving this review here too. I just went on TrustPilot and saw that I’m not the only one—this has happened to many others. I know what to do now—I will request a chargeback from my bank and keep spreading the word.

The website isn't of any need any more - or never has been

Very expensive tickets. I used Aviasales - and found tickets for my request from $540 - and a little annoying detail: the site always shows lower prices in the price calendar than for the actual tickets availible - I check any July day where there are supposedly tickets for 490 - but everywhere there are options from 540 (I checked all the filters and sorting). I searched independently using other aggregators and the airlines' websites - in 5 minutes I found options for $180. It is surprising how ineffective all these referral advertised blank pages are and how they do not make any sense to use. Do you need a site that offers the most expensive air tickets in economy class at the same time and with the same companies, which you can fly 2-3 times cheaper with the same availability of tickets by date and with the same conditions for luggage? I don't think so. It seemed so stupid that I wanted to go to the site with reviews specifically to recommend everyone not to use this advertised intrusive trash
