Never again with these ba**ards. Boat in crappy condition (anchor winch would blow the fuse after about 1 meter of chain up), the engine would stall if you tried to go after 2k rpms. The boat was older than stated in the papers. Arrogant thug who threatened to kick us of the boat when we said we would not accept this state. The owe money to the owners of the boats as well. Basically liar and thugs, dont rent from them.
Avoid at all cost ! The skipper leaves the boat in a dangerous situation, I call the company and they say they don’t even know the skipper. A joke ! A dangerous one too !
I have to confirm the very bad experience of other charterers, I wish I saw the reviews before booking with auracharter. Our deposit was also never returned without any notice, when we inquired they made unfounded claims that were not raised at check out. The Italain guy claiming to just be the middle man turned out to be the owner of the foreign company that is holding back the deposit. We have since found out that there are many more clients who had very similar bad experiences and never saw their deposit again. The boat was also dirty and smelled bad even if we were charged for professional cleaning services.
We booked a boat last year and we found a terrific situation. Dirt, ants, broken instrumentation, clogged bathroom and a tender laundry. To conclude, after the return of the boat, they invented an accident (which never happened), withholding the deposit for no reason.
I would like to alert you against that Yacht charter Company. This is
unreliable Company. They did not refund Deposit (!!!) despite Yacht has been handed over to the Auracharter without any claims.
Yacht has been badly prepared for the charter. It was dirty and stinked. The Owner cheated us with additional payments at check in although it was against the Contract and delivered defective services .
