With that said, we do see more than usual delays with the courier once they took possession of the parcel. Our sincerest apologies for this, and for any/all frustration this created.

EGO Commercial vs Consumer chainsaw
I've been researching battery powered chainsaws for quite some time now. Have destroyed two 12" Dewalt units in the process, which admittedly were undersized for the jobs I was doing. I had a Stihl with a 16" bar prior to this but got fed up with finicky starts and constant servicing. Recently made great use of a Husqvarna 18" but still detested the noise and stink and all that goes with gas. I purchased an EGO 18" consumer chainsaw from Canadian Tire earlier this season, but returned it immediately when I saw how whimpy the bar was. After checking into things, more thoroughly, decided to try this 20" commercial model and I am more than pleased. This is a real chainsaw, very comparable to gas, perhaps even a bit more scarey as it has incredible torque that takes no prisoners. At this point I've cut down half a dozen ash trees on my property and have nothing but praise for the machine. The battery that came with it has plenty of charge (outlasts me) and the saw cuts the wood like a hot knife through butter. A bit on the heavy side but I knew that going into this, and plan on getting a backpack for the battery. Then I can use my whoppers from my EGO snowblower, and go completely bonkers.

Very disappointed; 1st time customer
Very disappointed with my customer service interaction. I would have rated a 1-star and the only reason I gave an additional star is to acknowledge the fact that they were always quick to respond. What I’m disappointed with is the misleading information they shared. For background, I signed up as a new customer and got a text from Atlas for $10 off my next online order over $149. I had already placed a larger order by then so I reached out to customer service to see if they could honour the discount and at the same time added one more STIHL product to my order. They came back saying there was no discount on STIHL products. I responded saying this is not a product discount but rather a new customer welcome discount received for ANY online order over $149. They came back insisting it is still a discount and can’t be applied to STIHL products. I did not want to waste any more of my time arguing over a measly $10. However, it has left a very bad taste in my mouth especially as today I again received another reminder to use up my $10 for my first online order over $149. What stupidity. Clearly, either the different departments are not in tune or I got a novice rep from customer service. Either way this makes me one unhappy customer and I’m never ordering again from Atlas.

For transparency, the welcome discount our customers receive notes that certain exclusions apply and includes a direct link to the specific terms and conditions, this is very common within the industry. We provide this information to ensure transparency and honesty with our valued customers. Unfortunately, some brands, including STIHL, are excluded from these offers as part of our dealer agreements with select brands. Upon checkout, the system does not allow the discount code to apply to products that are not eligible. If we were able to apply the discount to your order, we certainly would have been happy to do so, howvwer we cannot break our dealer agreement. We hope you understand.
