Long Delivery Cycle and poor choice of courier
When I first started shopping at Atlas, most of my orders were shipped by Purolator. They were also shipped out usually within 48;hrs. This last order for. Milwaukee grinder took nearly a week to get shipped from the warehouse and of all couriers, the dreaded Dragonfly was used. Dragonfly is also sometimes used by Amazon and I have had the unfortunate dreadful experience of had some of my packages delivered to me by them. They are a deceitful company and unreliable, hence the reduced cost. They often fall short of the estimated delivery times, then blame the recipient for not answering the door on their first attempt, when no attempt was even made.
If Atlas is gonna cut costs on their free shipping (I do understand everyone has had to make adjustments with changes in the last couple of years), this will become a detriment to the reputation of Atlas Tools. But, you guys are driving the bus for that so good luck.
I often think Atlas is my first shop to buy from when I need an item that is sold in their universe. If this type of long delivery cycle becomes the norm and Dragonfly is the go-to for door to door service, I will have to adjust my list of where I place my order first.

Risposta di Atlas Tools & Machinery
Good Morning Andy,
Thank you for your review and feedback; we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Upon reviewing this order, we can confirm that the grinder shipped on the second business day, which does fall within our current processing timeframes. That said, we sincerely apologize that the overall experience did not meet the expectations you have come to expect, having shopped with Atlas Tools over the years.
We understand your concerns regarding the courier used for this delivery and the frustration that can come with delays from them. We recognize how important timely and dependable shipping is, and we’re sorry this experience has caused you to reconsider where you shop. We are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience, and we will be sharing this feedback with our team internally.
Please note that if you have a preferred courier that we use, you’re welcome to leave a note in your order comments, and our team will do its best to accommodate your preference while maintaining our free shipping offering.
We truly value your continued support and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. If you are open to the idea, we would appreciate the opportunity or a second chance, to try and turn this experience around to a more positive one. If this is something you are open to, please reply to our email sent offline.
Hope you have a great weekend and hope to hear back!
Sincerely,
Holly

First time buyer, Will buy again...
- Delivery time was adequate (from close to Lake Ontario to central AB)
- 2 orders put on the same day, and shipped separately... unlike others who miss match and clump up orders together.
- Not sure why the location tag is US as I do not plan on entering that country for a long while... An option should be available to correct that...
- Will purchase from Atlas again

Risposta di Atlas Tools & Machinery
Good Morning Mm,
Thank you for the review and feedback, we appreciate it.
We are happy to hear that your orders arrived in a timely manner! That is great news :)
Regarding the US location tag, upon review, we see the shipping address was Canadian and do not see any US flags. We will send you a follow-up email offline regarding this. If more information can be provided, we would like to further look into this so we can better understand and make any needed improvements.
As for combining orders, it isn’t always possible, but when we can combine shipments without delaying an order, we will do our best to accommodate that request.
We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you again!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Holly
