I have spent years and thousands of dollars on this site.
I have never even met one woman, even though I actually travelled to China and stayed there for 4 years, to make it more likely to meet one of these women.
It was all a waste of time!
You are supposed to exchange 10 letters each on this site, which costs a lot of money to open and to send. Then you can request the woman's private email.
Then you send her a personal email, thinking that she is going to respond as excitedly as she has been in her chats and letters, and that now you can both chat for a long time every day using your personal email addresses.
And then? Nothing!
Sometimes you might get a few words saying "It's me. Let's keep in touch" or something simple like that. Nothing else, no requests for photos or other things.
I believe this site to be a total scam.
I think that when think you are chatting to a woman, you may well be chatting to a man, or at least some kind of translator sitting at his desk with loads of photos of different girls, who he pretends to be.
That other site Asiandate.com is the same.
Don't waste your money any more!

Surely it’s a well organized scam. It’s not like a free and open marketplace where real people post their pictures online and your actually chatting with the people pictured. I say complicated scam because it seems there are humans actually texting and chatting at least a small percentage of the time. Looks like they bombard with Automated fishing messages and when you actually reply a human Steps in and starts chatting, and the human you chat with is certainly not the one pictured.

AsiaMe is nothing more than a well organized scam they go to great lengths to protect their agency scammers. Recently I received two identical letters from different ladies from the same agency when I complained to AsiaMe head office I was given the run around then I sent proof then they claimed to never have received them to shut me up I was given 2 credits. Now one month later I have found that I am unable to connect to AsiaMe. Just as I was going to complain that AsiaMe Qingdao branch has not processed a emf after three weeks this is definitely a conspiracy. Also a friend of mine was paid three thousand usd after he told them how he knew about paid AsiaMe scammers. My estimates are that 80% of correspondence is handled by paid AsiaMe agency scammers some agencies employ over 50 scammers full time. My experience has been that the so called ladies especially when you are contacted through Admirer Mail want you to chat on AsiaMe then get you to contact them directly by paying another 30 credits only to find that the information is incorrect or they are not interested in continuing to make contact except through AsiaMe. The site can be very addictive and you can spend many thousands of dollars for no tangible results. Another friend of mine was with a Chinese lady in person in Sydney when they checked her profile and her profile came up so they started chatting when she complained to the AsiaMe agency in Wuhan their reaction was so what her profile is still active on AsiaMe and being used by paid AsiaMe agency scammers from Wuhan.

I have frequented Asiame.com for almost 3 years now. I have chatted with and written letters to dozens of beautiful Chinese profiles during that time. If you are familiar with this website, you might understand that I have spent thousands of dollars over this time and honestly have not gotten a thing from it other than frustration and a bunch of pictures. As mentioned in other reviews here, it is addictive and I am currently trying to overcome that and finally walk away.
I am a senior citizen and have been married and divorced twice. Once to a Chinese national and I have been looking to replace that with a new Chinese love. I found this site and the selection is vast and the women are beautiful and aggressive in their communications. Aggressive in reaching out unsolicited to you through the “Admirer Mail” as well as chat invitations.
Despite obvious red flags I have remained “friends” to a few women, but I am always looking for the one who will make my dream come true. I am hooked to the chat as anything goes there and it often fulfills a fantasy for me. I say this because most every woman I contact through chat, regardless of age, steer me into a perverted conversation within the first 15 minutes of time. I do not know if my profile has notes on it that are available for the woman to read and play upon, but they always seem to pick up on the same sexual themes within a few minutes. Over time, I have developed certain preferences with these women that they are all too happy to oblige and interact with. I have speculated that there is a call center where these chats and email come from and that they simple feed off the last representative’s notes to create a fetish filled conversation that keeps me coming back. Other reviews here have mentioned similar theories. Most contacts will try to send pictures right away and question you as to how they look in the picture or outright lie about its content, just to get you to download it. As mentioned in other reviews here, the cost is prohibitive. At the low end, 3 credits are $21 US. To download a picture from chat is 1.5 credits or $10.50 each. Videos are 2.5 credits or $17.50 to view. Over time the women will learn that you do not download pictures and will stop but the new ones are pushy about it. A thing I have noticed lately, which just began, is that some women will stay active all the time. You do not really know if they are there or unavailable but with their accounts active. When you attempt a chat with them, the site used to just stay dormant and you could leave without occurring a charge. Now, the chats are systematically answered with a “hello” or “let me see your picture” which initiates the chat from the woman’s end and incurs a .5 credit charge on your balance, or $3.50. No active woman is there, it is just the system faking it so it can charge you. I complained about this and the helpdesk danced around it and refunded me 2 credits but never did address the issue.
I have gone to the extent of buying the personal email of women from the site which you can do after fulfilling an EMF letter writing requirement of 10 letters and also having the woman agree to it. In each case, that communication lasted about 6 emails before they stopped writing. One said her personal email was blocked, another asked for gifts in exchange for emails. Email is not the answer to communicating with the women on this site. Telephone calls are not either. As the man, you are required to buy credits to cover your telephone call set-up and time. You are also on the hook for any long-distance charges your own telephone company charged to Hong Kong. The call quality is usually poor, and the women are simply not able to understand you or are purposely ignorant of English language or email address formatting. I also wonder if they are compensated for the chat time, pictures & videos, phone calls, gifts and EMF letters they generate with you as they certainly seem to be loyal to the website and its rules and even promote them. They are active to lead you on about purchasing their email contact, but it quickly falls apart once you pay. I have a QQ email account, which is Chinese based, so the email method should not present an issue for these women.
In closing, it has been a struggle for me to give this website interaction up despite all that I have written here and lived through. I believe that Asiame.com serves more as a chat service than it does as a dating service. Not once have I been seriously invited by any of the women to visit them in their city. Certainly, there is the come-on to be with them, support them and pleasure them but I’ve not been asked about my hometown, my house or my family. It is a very one-way service, but I have used it, at a high price, to fulfill some of my own fantasies and fetishes. I believe that this review will help me finally walk away for good.

Some people don`t have anything interesting in their profiles. Their photos are not eye catching and they don`t know how to communicate. The site should find a way to provide tips for such members and conversation starters too. This will help a big deal. Other than that, the site is great.

I have been rejected a few times now since I joined but am still keeping my hopes high. I have learnt to stick to people in my league from their looks, age and occupation which might actually increase my chances of finding true love.

At the beginning, it is very fun to shop around for singles, but with time. you get eye- strain and realize that everyone sounds the same and you are unable to tell if you actually like them or not. I have not found a match but will continue using the site.

TOTAL SCAM. Asiame is a money scam. I found a way to prove that they are a scam. I sent paid emails "asking" the women I had been communicating with, "if" they wanted to continue communicating off site. The question was embedded in the middle of the email. I asked "if" they wanted to continue our established relationship on a different platform, like Outlook or Google email. Not one ever responded back to my offer. Well that said it all. Typical Chinese mind set when it comes to doing business. No professionalism, no scruples, no moral high ground. Just do what ever it takes to scam the money out of everyone so they can drive high dollar cars and by expensive mansions.

Well - my first red flag was the highly professional photographs, along with a lot of obvious air-brushing. It may or may not be the case that the ladies are genuine (or not) since without direct meeting, nigh impossible to attain at the moment (corona lockdown), you can't tell if you are talking to a live lady or a clone (a clone being someone employed to respond to you. I also noticed when I put a 'chat' response in, which did not go through due to lack of credits, I would still get a response or a follow-up. Red Flag 2. OK, says me - I'll hold out until I accept the low price offer for two credits, send emails to a couple of ladies I like, and see what happens. Reply all right - but no credit to unlock and view - and at $8US to open an email and then again $8 to send one back - chasing that lady becomes awfully costly - considering that I could take a membership in other reputable sites for a month for, say $30-40, and have unlimited access for that month. I say NO!! Don't go near it unless you are happy to spend hundreds just trying to chat up a lady you like in photographs. Only a fool would take that up - and I am neither rich nor a fool.

Things have changed a lot in 10 years between the West and China, but I see the Chinese scam dating sites have not, based on reading reviews here--it's the same game, exactly. The same business model as long ago, when I woke up one day from the nightmare of what was really going on.
The scam sites like this all have a similar idea. Throw images of beautiful women at you, then get your money. The local agencies have employees who each pretend to be multiple gorgeous women, you can easily spend thousands of dollars talking to what could even be a guy.
Ironically, after much travel in China, I actually met two people who worked at such agencies. They both were women, not attractive at all, and they told me in great detail how the scam system works. They would sit in their office all day, pretending to be 5 to 8 fake women. They got paid based on how much translating and chatting was done each week. I became a friend to one of them, who suffered for some years after she quit, out of guilt of what she did to many easily conned old men.
Especially today, with very good machine translation, you can easily get on legitimate websites (there are many) where there will be competition for the very attractive women, of course, and where you can exchange contact information without nonsense if both parties want to. Back 10 years ago, machine translation was not usable, but it now works very well for getting acquainted.
My memory about this is bitter, which is why I just took a look after all these years, and decided to write to make others aware. Best wishes.

This site is nothing but a scam and money grab, you are charged for everything, you cannot exchange any personal contact details at all. I chatted to one lady (happy to supply her asiame id if anyone wants it) on EMF mail and phone calls, at considerable expense over a period of time, however I found the ‘real’ person elsewhere, and actually called her directly. She confirmed my fear, that I had been talking to a fake on asiame, in fact an employee/agent of asiame.......... the site needs to be closed, women fake interest in you, you ever notice how you get a 100% success rate? So not real, this site is all about emptying your bank account. Guys, learn from my mistake and avoid at all costs, and don’t get ripped off, anyone posting a positive review here is totally deluded, or employed by asiame, and will find out the hard and expensive way......be warned!

I'm going to say this is mostly an expensive teaser site... I'm not saying that there is no possibility of finding someone on the site... I am saying that I could likely stay in several Asian countries for a year or longer for much less...

If you are serious about dating an Asian and you have the bank account to use this site for a week straight I would suggest you take that money and arrange for a trip. Take 6 months to a year and spend in a cheaper Asian country. Use a multiple entry visa for the country you are staying in and visit the countries you are interested in the most. Take the time to learn of some culture meet some people and enjoy an extended vacation.

So I will break down why asiame is unlikely to be a legitimate site to meet someone on.. They actually ban you from exchanging any personal information. There is no transitioning away from their site... The ladies profiles have multiple photos and abilities that the men don't have.. The ladies can send admirer mail these can be read for free. It appears they can write their own words in this mail from as well as send photos. Guys can only send a day hi mail for free, these say hi mails are all scripted and there are only 5 to choose from. Emf mail and chat both cost it's .5 credits for 5 mins of chat and costs extra to open photos, it's 1 credit to open emf mail and 1 credit to send emf mail. Credits cost $400 for 100 credits..

If you do some research you will find that for less than 30k you can travel to and stay in a couple Asian countries for about a year. Personally, if rather travel there and see first hand the culture and lifestyles of the people. While it's not impossible to not get scammed in real life face to face it would be much more difficult and chances are won't hurt as badly as most people will catch on much quicker...

However if you still choose to pay for asiame services keep in mind that it's likely a site to quickly empty the pockets of lonely people desperate for love. It likely achieves short term relief as there will be communication but I highly doubt anyone has found any kind of real love on this site... Even many of the reviews that are found on the site are paid ads or reviews on here seem scripted...

If anyone wants to actually prove me wrong including the company themselves I will gladly change my review to reflect that I was wrong but I highly doubt anyone will be able to provide any actual proof...

The site is a good thing to pass time during the self-quarantine right now. You get to meet a lot of people without limits of geographical locations, which is more or less the same as other online dating apps I have tried in these days. Will see.

Scam. Signed up in 2016, had a few ladies in my favorites, went back now 2020 same ladies are still on line with same profile. So in 4 years these absolutely young beautiful ladies found no one LOL.

I have spent a lot of money trying to connect and after many crashed relationships ( sending duplicate letters , or not wanting to meet ) pictures that so not match from one to the next ( eye color different etc.) This site is just a scam to line their pockets with American money. Maybe they have had 50 follow up relationships that really work . That is not much for what you pay.

This is a terrible site. Steer well clear.
Although they have apparently lots of eager girls.. most are probably fake and employed by the company to get you to buy more "credits"
You cannot even if you wanto get in direct contact with a girl as they censor all email addresses and make it virtually impossible to contact directly and even if you did the ID;s are largely fake.
So avoid at all cost and find a responsible site.

I sometimes groan with exasperation when I read reviews here promoting asiame.com and other Asian dating sites. Deluded guys defending it by saying it is a communist country and they don't have private access to the internet like in the West. Or Westerners don't understand the Chinese culture. Saying they've been on it for "6" years and had no trouble with it...HELLO, WAKEUP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!

I went on it as a trial run for 2 weeks with 3 different women, all saying they were instantly in love with me, using sexual references and lewd language that wouldn't be out of place on a hard-core pornographic site. Sending me multiple letters and chat messages in 1 day that could've easily been covered in one letter (getting you to spend more money). Their photos are all studio quality (no one looks that good!). They're obviously well trained because as soon as you start to delve into their private life, like asking them about their families, work or their local community, they all give out the same automated answers. You only have to compare the letters and you can plainly see it is all being taken off a template.

The bottom line here guys is that (I've done business with the Chinese) when it comes to business and making a profit, the Chinese people, have only one rule..."close the deal"...morals don't come into it!

My advice, stick to your own backyard where the rules are clearly laid out, and you know what to expect. Good luck!
