Mother in law has these but we have had to cancel the sandwiches as they either aren’t delivered or are soggy as they are frozen. The hot meals have been very hit and miss as to whether they are actually hot enough. Problem is you shouldnt reheat but she has been popping them in the microwave to make them hotter when they arrive. However the drivers are lovely and it’s peace of mind knowing someone is seeing her every day

Wir haben zum ersten Mal diesen Lieferdienst (über Evelyns Mittagstisch) für den Mittagstisch genutzt, da die Zulieferung täglich von Nöten war. Die Menüauswahl ist vielfältig, aber die Qualität sehr fraglich. Aus diesem Grund ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht angemessen. Für diese Preisspanne kann man auch bei einem hochwertigerem Lieferdienst/Restaurant bestellen. Das Essen ist in ein Plastikgefäß eingeschweißt, sehr unappetitlich anzusehen, wenig schmackhaft, kleine Portionen und bis Mai 2023 gültig. Was soll daran frisch und gesund sein?? Es ist absolute Massenware, vollgestopft mit Konservierungsstoffen und somit nicht tragbar. Ich persönlich empfinde es als sehr unangemessen pflegebedürftigen oder älteren Menschen so einen "Fraß" anzubieten. Besonders wenn sie darauf angewiesen sind. Außerdem wissen wir alle, dass die Nahrung einen großen Teil zur Gesundheit, Genesung und zum allgemeinen Wohlbefinden beiträgt. Somit sehe ich es als sehr unverantwortlich an mit Wörtern wie Qualität, Frische etc. zu werben. Ich würde niemandem empfehlen Essen über diese Art von Anbietern zu bestellen. Really disappointing. Driver who wasn't provided with my 88 year old mother's correct address. This meant driving around trying to find her place. Result was cold food. Told me the thought I'd only booked Tuesday to Friday, despite informing them as clear as day it was Monday to Friday and providing a five day menu. On the second day it was meant to be fish and we got lemon chicken and rice. Not even close! Safe to say, I had to go around to sort my mother's food as they completely failed. Their organisation is shocking! I've now cancelled!

Update.

So, I received a response asking me to contact their customer service. No point really as I had no intention of continuing with such a shocking service. Despite delivering on the first day, only as a result of my intervention and then delivering the wrong food that was cold and having clearly informed me there would be no charge for their incompetence and failure to abide by the contract, this disgraceful company has now sent my 88 year old mother an invoice. How they have the audacity is beyond me. Having again completely failed on the second day to deliver the correct food (having promised they would get it right after the first debacle), I made it quite clear that my mother wouldn't be paying for the 2nd day either because of their competence (they have breached their contract). Again they have sent an invoice. Safe to say this disgraceful action in invoicing an elderly woman for a service that was nowhere near what was agreed will not be paid and I will make a counter claim for my time, fuel and inconvenience for their failure should they try to pursue the matter. It may be only £9.35, but the principal is I will not pay for a service that was not the service that was agreed. By the way my time and expense for leaving work to get her food was in excess of £20. Perhaps I should invoice them!!!!!!!!

Mijn moeder ligt in de Veenkade in Veendam en vind de maaltijden ronduit niet te pruimen. Geen smaak, slecht vlees,consistentie van de ragout is snot.
Slechte maaltijden, Apetito krijgt een waardering cijfer 3.
Maak geen gebruik van dit bedrijf want het zijn culinaire verkrachters

We were looking for a company delivering hot meals to a vunerable person. Most of the catering companies deliver frozen dishes our friend cannot deal with this . We found Apetito and i must say it has been life saving as the food is hot , the choice good and the drivers super nice and sympathetic . The price for the food and delivery is staggeringly good value. Finally the office staff has been effective right from the start and dealt with creating an account for us in no time at all .We are ever so grateful Apetito exists when we had nowhere to turn to .

Erster Versuch und es war leider enttäuschend. Die Qualität rechtfertigt nicht den Preis. Aufgetautes Mikrowellenessen mit viel Salz und Geschmacksverstärkern. Der Service ist hinsichtlich Pünktlichkeit und Freundlichkeit ok. Trotzdem keine Empfehlung.

Das Essen schmeckt recht gut, sehr gut erhitzt geliefert, nicht zuviel Fett oder Zucker, genaue Angaben und Foto im Menü-Bestell-Formular. Auswahl (sechs Menüs pro Tag) auch tageweise und kurzfristig möglich. Telefondienst sehr gut. Lieferdienst pünktlich.
Lieferung bei uns leider schon um 10.30 Uhr. Wärmebox, einzeln zu bezahlen, hält Essen nicht lange ganz heiss.
Essenschalen sind aus Kunststoff,werden nicht zurückgenommen.
Für zu frühe Lieferung und umweltschädliche Menüschalen leider zwei Punkte Abzug.

I have Apetito for over a year. The Food is good and always hot. The menu changes regularly.
The Drivers are friendly and helpful. Always make sure that I am ok. Sophie C. in the office is always polite and takes her time to answer all your requests.

After an initial bad experience where my frail elderly father (89) did not have his meals delivered for 3 days, the service has not been that great. Confusing bills for when he was in hospital, and meals delivered that were not chosen and not liked so therefore my father was not able to eat them. I emailed a complaint about the missing meals which was replied to and then no further communication has been received after promising to look into why my father had no food for 3 days! The sandwiches are not that good either as everything comes with mayonnaise and nothing has a date on it.

On the plus side the food always arrives with very friendly staff and it’s always piping hot, and the puddings are fine.

It was a very nice experience at Apetito, Bob the waiter is a nice guy and the food is so tasty, if ketchup could be added to the menu it would be even better.

You need to tell your driver of van registration LO66 BPK that delivers on St Helier Ave, Morden somewhere that it is in fact totally against the law to drive whilst using a mobile phone! I see this old guy regularly driving this route going along talking on a mobile.

We have been working with Apetito for a few month's now and the service is great!! Easy to do online orders. Full training given to any staff that want to learn how to cook with Apetito. Tailored dishes to meet the needs of each person, and delicious meals. Ever expanding menu's so always a great choice to choose from. Not only do they support you with Apetito they offer support in other areas making sure budgets are being kept to. 5 star service with a smile!!!

We have worked with Apetito for many years now and besides a great product offering, the service and support has always been first class.

In addition, I have always found them to be flexible and able to respond quickly when needed particularly at short notice.

We've had excellent service from Apetito, from the initial tasting session with Paul, our account manager, to the tailored support provided wherever we needed it, right through to the delivery of the food itself. The children love the food - and so do the staff! There is an excellent choice, and clear identification of allergens and ingredients means that meeting everyone's needs is straightforward. We would highly recommend Apetito to other nurseries.

On behalf of all our family I wanted to give my deep gratitude for all the assistance the meals on wheels team in Croydon has given to our family over the last 13 years.

I want to thank everyone who has given our family support and kindness from each of your delivery staff past and present, you have allowed our family to enjoy the last years with my mother and allowed us to take care of her other needs, whilst knowing you were there for her, particularly during the last 18 months of her life during Covid, you have been there for us all the way and moreover, particularly when we were unable to go to visit her.

I am extremely angry about the poor customer service. We were getting meals for my Dad last summer ,then sadly he (91) died of Covid early November. I cancelled the meals around mid Sept as he was in hospital. We paid up to date Fast fwd to Dec/Jan & my poor mother is bombarded with statements , & threatening letters ref supposed outstanding amount of £41.94. I emailed them ,have tried ringing etc . Impossible to speak to anyone. Then Eureka I found the email dated October from them thanking me for payment & account is at zero! Someone needs to give the accounts dept a kick up backside . I have emailed them requesting refund & apology for distress caused to my aged & widowed mother but not a word back .Disgusted .

The food is great for the children with a wide variety and it tastes amazing.
Staff enjoy eating with the children aswell.

All allergies and dietary requirements are met and easy to follow on all ingredients

So easy to order and delivery is easy too

Apetito, at first glace, may seem just like any other meals on wheels company. In fact, they offer so much more than food. Each delivery driver, makes sure that the person receiving their food is OKAY. It's a welfare check. It only takes a few minutes, but it's always done. When they arrive, if there is no answer at the door and entry cannot be gained, they phone the person listed on their paperwork, as the next of kin or person to contact in case of a problem. It's giving you a heads up that there may be a problem. If, as in most cases, the door is answered, they carry the hot food into the kitchen and place it on the side. The food is prepared in a nutritious way and there is no skimping on the size if the portions. A wide and varied menu is available to choose from and if you have any dietary or religious restrictions, these can be easily catered for with just a phone call to the offices where, a team of dedicated helpers are on hand to help you arrange your requirements to your full satisfaction. There are many other meals on wheels services, but having seem Apetito first hand, I recommend their services and am happy to give them a 5 star rating.
