Perfect, Reliable and honest.
I had a very positive experience with Antiques Buyers. The communication was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. They took the time to look at the items carefully and explained the process clearly, which made everything straightforward and reassuring.
It’s refreshing to deal with people who clearly have many years of experience in the antiques trade. I was given honest advice and a fair offer, and the whole process was handled in a very professional manner.

Had a wonderful experience with Gerome today. Contacted him on Saturday and he was round the next day. Had amazing knowledge on everything I had and gave a generous and reasonable offer. Will definitely use them again

Lovely Lady expert in Antiques
We recently met Sue at our home as our mother had passed and we had lots of china to give to another home.
From the moment I spoke to Sue, she was absolutely lovely, very caring and was empathetic to our situation. Sue took the time to go around our home and quoted for items she felt could go to another home.
On behalf of our family thank you Sue for your kindness. We will certainly recommend you and will contact you again should we need to again :)

Do not believe their promises
The website makes false claims about giving valuations on everything. I have tried with different items and on both occasions have not received a valuation. They just reply that they’re not for them and are rude about the items. I have pointed out the misleading promises on their website but instead of sorting out the problem they’ve ignored it. The fact that they are saying that they didn’t have a customer of my name further discredits them as a trustworthy company!

Our website clearly states that we buy a wide range of antiques, jewellery, silver, watches and furniture. However, it is not always possible for us to make offers or provide valuations on every item submitted to us, particularly if the items fall outside the areas we specialise in purchasing.
We would also like to clarify that we always aim to respond to enquiries politely and professionally. We do not intentionally ignore enquiries, and we certainly do not intend to be rude to anyone. If our response was interpreted that way, we sincerely apologise.
Regarding your comment about us saying we did not have a customer under your name, we simply could not locate a matching record in our system at the time. If you would like to contact us again with further details, we would be happy to review the matter.
We take our reputation very seriously and strive to provide a professional and courteous service to everyone who contacts us.

I was attracted by their offer to value…
I was attracted by their offer to value my furniture per WhatsApp. Their response was a phone call to discuss the items I sent them for valuation. They asked whether I had any other items such as glass silver and the such like. I made it clear that I only had the items, I sent them for valuation. The rep asked whether they could visit my house to inspect the items. I told him that that would not be possible and he accepted this. The next day he rings asking exactly the same questions as the day before i.e. did I have any other items for sale and if they could come round to have a look at the furniture. I assume he may have forgotten our conversation from the day before, however, it was a little concerning. We ended this conversation in agreement that he would discuss with his boss and come back with an offer. Sadly its five days now and I have heard nothing more.
