Pretty good. The 'convenience fee' for getting so much in a package is a little high, but it really does make things a lot more convenient when visiting the city. If you like to micromanage, you don't need this. But if like me you don't, then it's money well spent.

If you have time, you can get 40% cheaper prices in Amsterdam by going directly to the attractions or tour without the website.

My experience was average, we had some issues with payments but they tried their best to solve it, even though it took a long while, what they lack in structure they have in effort.

Don't do this tour if you are spending a week or more in Amsterdam. You can take local buses and trains to most of the places these tours take you to.

We did the Edam, Volendam, and Zaanse Schans bus tour and enjoyed it very much. It was expensive but worth it as we had limited time in Amsterdam.

I was worried the tour wouldn't allow enough time for each city but that was definitely not the case. I would say they gave us just enough time in each location. Zaanse Schans was the highlight--very pretty town and a great tour of a working windmill. Also enjoyed petting the baby goat, though I'm pretty sure that wasn't allowed. The boat ride from Edam to Volendam was lovely and we enjoyed tasting all the cheese at the Gouda factory. If you are on the fence about bringing cheese back to the states, definitely do bring it back. It travels really well in our experience. Put in your checked bag and don't declare it.

The great thing about this tour was that the group was so large, you could wander off on your own and still find your way back. You can also opt to wander instead of doing one of the planned factory tours, which is what I did in Edam with the clog-maker's workshop (my husband did it and said it was nothing special--I'd recommend you skip it). The guide was good about letting me know when to be back at the location to meet the group.

If you are expecting a traditional tour with a history lesson, it is pretty much non-existent here. The guide serves more to make sure people get from place to place. There is a taped "tour" on the bus that you can plug into but it's not that interesting. If you have limited time and want to see the Dutch countryside though, it doesn't get better than being chauffeured on a scenic tour... in a double-decker.

The tour was for The Delft, The Hague and Madurodam. Our tour guide did not have a lot of information for us and didn't seem to have knowledge of the tour. We felt that he wasn't really a tour guide but just a driver. After spending much too much time at the Hague where there was very little to see and do he drove us to a beach where we could order lunch which took way too long. He then drove us to Madorodam which was included in the price we paid for the tour and charged us for the tickets so we ended up paying twice. After that, when we got back in the van, he informs us that we ran out of time and didn't have time to see The Delft which we paid for unless we were willing to pay extra money! To top things off, I had informed the company in writing about a hotel change for pick-up and they never updated the records even though they confirmed in and e-mail that they had received the updated hotel change. Consequently the driver went to the wrong hotel first. This company is extremely disorganized!!! The tour guide did not have any time management skills and we were shortchanged. In fact, I feel that we should be refunded for this tour!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS TOUR GROUP!!!!

The driver/guide was punctual and phoned to inform us that he was waiting outside the hotel for us. The drive to Salzburg was very informative and interesting, the trip through the Austrian Lakes was also informative and very beautiful.
the guided walking tour around the city was well presented and gave us the historical information of the city.

This tour was book so many days ahead yet they only inform me 2 days before tour start that the tour is cancelled. What kind of a company does that to their customers. You send an e-mail with no advise as to how I will get my refund. This kind of administration is very unprofessional as a tour company. I will not recommend your company to anyone. I will also write to trip advisor to condemn your establishment!
Totally disappointed!!

Went on a Saturday mini-bus tour with Royal Tours. Johann was the tour guide and did an excellent job! He is originally from Austria and is very knowledgeable about Austrian culture. He was prompt and very cheerful the whole day (even when we were all exhausted driving back!) The tour had a great flow - we stopped a couple times on our way to Salzburg to see the church from the Sound of Music as well as a quant village called Wolfgangsee. The tour in Salzburg was wonderful - we had 2.5 hours to walk around by ourselves and that was plenty of time!

I did a lot of research booking this tour as I was only in Austria for the weekend and was EXTREMELY pleased with this tour company!

The web site advertized the "best" tour and was among the most expensive. I had done one with another company 7 years ago so I was expecting at least the same level of quality. I was mostly disapointed with the so-called audio guide that was very limited and sometimes even malfuncitonning. Fortunately, Amsterdam is beautiful enough to enjoy without the comments but it is frustrating to pay for something that really fails to meet minimum expectations.
