Amethyst Education Recensioni

In a word - fantastic!

I signed up to Amethyst with Ashley, who was amazing from the first second. Within 24 hours of chatting to him about what I was looking for in a school, I had an interview that same day and I got the position!

Ashley massively boosted my confidence as a ECT candidate and I'm so thankful for his help finding my first teaching position.

Thank you Ashley and thank you Amethyst Education!

I signed up to the agency with Ashley. He was super helpful and within a day of having my CV he had arranged for myself to have 2 interviews with two different schools in which I was successful and got a position. He was also super helpful at finding my girlfriend interviews!

Many thanks great help!

Fantastic! Wonderful! Outstanding! Many words to describe this agency. Very supportive and with you from day one. Continued support with the interview process and will constantly look to match you to a PERFECT school based on your vision and philosophy of education. No complaints at all. Lisa (and Ashley) have been outstanding in helping me secure my first position for September. Highly recommend. Out of this world!

I have had such a good experience with this company! Within less than a week, i had an interview with a school. Ashley had kindly gone out of his way to ensure me and my partner where placed in schools close together. All questions where asked and answered promptly. Quick and easy sign up process. Would definitely recommend to any teachers looking in finding a job in London.

I was doing a PGCE (History) and my university forwarded an email from Ashley with details about the Amethyst agency and suggested we think about contacting them. I decided to do so, and am glad that I did. Ashley spoke to me first and was very friendly and extremely quick to respond. I was then handled by Lisa who is responsible for my area (Yorkshire and North-East). I felt confident that Lisa understood my career goals, preferences and teaching philosophy, and at her request I sent various documentation to help her match me to an employer. Lisa was very communicative, supportive and friendly.

I believe the authors of some other reviews may be confused as to what a teaching recruitment agency does. Many schools will advertise jobs directly on TES or other job sites, but many others prefer to work through agencies. Signing up with a recruitment agency is not an excuse for you to ignore any jobs you see come up on TES! It is another avenue to find a job.

So, in the end, I applied for a ton of jobs myself and got nowhere. Then Lisa called me back (having checked up on me and reported on her efforts a number of times in the interim) to arrange an interview with a school that she thought would be a good fit for me. Lisa was spot on - the school was an excellent fit for my personal and career goals. Lisa then arranged the interview details with the school, and I turned up on the day and after a very stress-free interview was offered the job.

Frankly in this extremely difficult year I do not think I would have got a permanent teaching job for September if it wasn't for Lisa and Amethyst. Not only that, but my new job is at an excellent school, much better than most I've applied to on TES!

My advice to all PGCE trainees or NQTs seeking a permanent position would be to sign up with Amethyst and be honest about what you are looking for (previously Lisa had contacted me about some other types of schools which didn't appeal, and this helped us better understand what we wanted).

I had a fantastic experience with Amethyst. Ashley was super supportive through the whole process with constant advice during the process. I barley had to organise anything only show up on the day!

Amethyst assisted me with finding my first teacher's post, I didn't have a great deal of time but the team were fantastic :)

I got in contact with Ashley Atmore and within a day he had organised an interview for me. I was hired in less than a week from getting in contact with him. The school he had arranged an interview in is a perfect fit for me and I couldn't be happier.

I could not speak higher about the support given by both Ashley and Katy. Coming from Northern Ireland, I needed a degree of trust and support to make such a big step. They were incredibly patient with me and provided a plethora of options, one of which I recently decided to pursue. Both of them genuinely had my best interests at heart. Katy even took the time to provide in depth detail into the surrounding area which I will be moving to. They really went the extra mile.

Ashley is a legend!

Found me a job that fits my personality and teaching style and he was awesome throughout my experience with them 🥳

Great experience with Amethyst Education. Katy has been really helpful, always available to answer any question, and she found me a position at an excellent school!

What can I say about this company?Fantastic and very professional. I moved to London from Liverpool around two years ago. I contacted Ashley and he got me 3 interviews within days. I was offered a position within all 3 schools. Ashley contacted me about a position recently and they have also been offered a fantastic contract within their school. I have made so much progression in my teaching career due to the positions Ashley has found me.

I highly recommend this company!

I had a great experience with Amethyst. I had a detailed conversation with Ashley who asked for my preferences and really took note of what I wanted going into my first NQT post. He matched me up with a wonderful school in Slough which is everything I wanted in a role. As an NQT it can feel really daunting applying for positions but they take that away!

Excellent experience with Amethyst Education. They found me my dream NQT job!

Fabulous service! I had a very pleasant experience with Amethyst Education. They have been very supportive and helpful since our initial connect call. After getting to know all of my needs Katy managed to match me with a wonderful school and I landed the job. I am very pleased with Amethyst Education's service and can't wait to start my NQT years from this July!

A fantastic service. Amethyst Education is simply brilliant - they are supportive and accommodating. Never once was I put under pressure to accept a place or to partake within an interview; they truly care about you as an individual.
As an NQT it was even so reassuring to have somebody look over my CV. Do not hesitate to use their services!

I had a great experience with Amethyst. I had a detailed conversation with Ashley who asked for my preferences and really took note of what I wanted going into my first NQT post. He matched me up with a wonderful school within a short distance of where I live also. Very pleased! Would recommend

I am pleased to have asked Amethyst education to help me find a teaching job! First, I would have liked to find something in Hampshire but because of the sanitary situation, it was hard to find a school over there. When I said I wouldn't mind opening my horizons to London and its area, they have been very professional and contacted me very quickly for an interview. I am pleased to have accepted a job as an NQT today in a school they have found for me! I highly recommend Amethyst Education. They are not only professional but also friendly and do not hesitate to keep you updated and to support you at the best of their ability!
