I am account holder of Alrajhi bank last 4 years. The customer service experience is very poor. I had a problem last year with the bank. I was not able to make international transfer though the app. They keep sending me to different branches. Some how they fixed it after one month. The same issue again started this year. I am still suffering with the service. I have made complaints from 05 May.They are still working on the issue. Still not resolved. My advice to new customers, please do not open account with this bank. No sympathy or consideration for your hard earned money

Funds Stuck Due to Impossible Banking Requirements
I worked in Saudi Arabia and had an account with Al Rajhi Bank. After my final exit from Saudi Arabia, I returned to the Philippines.
Since then, I have been trying to process the liquidation of my account and transfer my remaining balance to my Philippine bank. I have already submitted all required documents multiple times, including my passport, Iqama, Absher final exit proof, bank certificate, SWIFT code, and complete account details.
However, until now, my request is not being processed. The bank keeps asking for requirements that are not possible to provide, such as IBAN (which is not available in Philippine banks) and signature verification by another bank.
I have explained my situation many times, but I keep receiving repeated responses without proper review of my case. I am no longer in Saudi Arabia and do not have access to my account, so I am depending only on customer support.
This situation is causing delay and inconvenience, and I am unable to access my own money.
I respectfully request Al Rajhi Bank to review my case properly and process my account liquidation using the documents I have already provided. I am willing to provide my details privately upon request.

I would never recommend dealing with this bank if you are at the mercy of the call center staff.
There is no way to communicate effectively. I have a problem paying with Visacard card for a scientific subscription site and I contacted them tens times to solve it and it is not solved and before that a problem with transfers that were returned only by a complaint and a court case...one of the worst experiances
IMPOSSIBLE REQUIREMENT OF AL RAJHI BANK IN SAUDI
I would like to call the ATTENTION of Management of Al RAJHI BANK in SAUDI ARABIA, recently I have a relative that exited in your country and there's still money in the account, as soon as he passed the immigration gate, the account was already inaccessible and was advised by Al Rajhi to write to Customer Care and submiited the required document to be abl e to get the remaining balance from the account. Customer care response was INSUFFICIENT BALANCE , then again filed a complaint the second time. The Customer Care required another bank statement from the beneficiary bank signed and certified by THE WORLD BANK. They are asking for impossible requirements and it seems that AlRajhi bank does not want to release the hard earned money of a Filipino worker.
Originally, the requirements asked were the following: paasport, exit visa, iqama, bank statement. Why they make it so difficult when in fact the required documents were already provided in the first place. What does World Bank has to do with the transaction? This is already a red flag banking with AlRajhi Bank, this should be done easier for the workers who exited or finish their contract in Saudi. This is not the first time, there are also others facing the same issue.
Could higher management from AlRajhi Bank address these serious concern as it's so unfair for the overseas workers.

My account has been locked, and I have visited the bank multiple times to resolve this issue. I have already submitted my salary certificate, address details, and all required documents. However, the issue has still not been resolved and my account remains inactive.
Each time I visit, I am asked for different requirements—such as resubmitting the salary certificate, being informed that the system is not working, or being asked to update my address again. This has caused repeated delays and inconvenience.
I kindly request your support to resolve this issue at the earliest and activate my account as soon as possible. Please let me know if any additional information is required so that this can be completed in one go.

Poor banking experience with Alrajhi bank
I requested my USD payment from Riseworks to be sent to Alrajhi bank account in the first week of December. Till date I have not received it. As per Riseworks they transferred the funds and also shared the swift transfer receipt which I sent to Alrajhi bank. But for some unknown reason they refuse to accept it and my funds are blocked.
I faced similar situations twice earlier with the same bank account. According to the customer service the account is fully functional yet I'm stuck with them for more than one month.
I'm not sure now if Alrajhi bank is suitable for getting good services.

I have been stolen by AlRajhi branch in Madinah near Qubah mosque, the amount debited was 2500 sar and I have made claim and struggle a lot to know what the reason and the customer service did not made investigation to know the reason. After my personal investigation, I saw in my bank account that beneficiary from pakistan has been added and after second claim to Alrajhi, they confirmed that the branch in madinah made the transaction. I have called the branch and finally they refund the total amount and appologized.
That is how Alrajhi is confidently dealing with clients.

Very bad experience, local branch staff is no friendly, no reason block IDR, no transwer money, not only me many people, better to find another bank
A very disappointing bank
I have been dealing with them for years, but recently everything has become chaotic. They messed up my account and cards, their system keeps crashing, and the app freezes all the time. I submitted several requests, yet the system fails and doesn't record anything. Even though I approved the credit-limit increase contract, it was never registered in their system. On top of that, every customer service representative gives a completely different answer, as if each one is using a different system, and their email responses are full of contradictions and misinformation. I even filed a complaint with the Central Bank, but received no update whatsoever. At this point, I've decided to close my account with them permanently. I can only say: my grievance is to God.

Terrible Customer service. Anything you email them they'll merely pass it onto the next agent like a hot potatoe, despite a very detailed description. Lost money due to their incompetence.
Alrajhi Bank: A Complete Scam on International Transfers — Stay Away!
If I had a choice, I’d rather die than ever use Alrajhi Bank for international money transfers. I’ve transferred money twice to the UAE, and both times they stole 80 SAR from me, plus VAT.
When I reached out to customer support, instead of resolving the problem, they shrugged me off and sent me to Tahweel Alrajhi, where the staff were rude and dismissive, clearly uninterested in helping.
Recently, they launched a pathetic “promotion” for Saudi National Day, promising 90 SAR cashback. I sent 500 SAR to Pakistan, and the transfer got delayed. When I asked for a cancellation, they gave me the runaround—asking me to wait 10 days, again and again. Only after I complained to SAMA Care did they respond—after five days! They claimed the transfer was completed, but there was no proof, and of course, no cashback.
This isn’t just poor service — it’s blatant fraud and deception by a financial institution that should know better. Alrajhi Bank’s fake promotions are designed to trap customers into using their corrupt, unreliable system. My personal financial management is a thousand times better than the disaster Alrajhi calls a service.
Avoid Alrajhi Bank at all costs if you don’t want your money stolen and your time wasted. This is a disgrace to banking.
