I was a loyal Allstate Motor Club customer for approximately 20 years, but a serious failure in their online payment system finally forced me to leave.
After trying to update my payment method online in November 2025, their website repeatedly rejected correct account information. I contacted customer service multiple times, and each time the issue was escalated to technical support with promises of a 7–10 day follow-up. No one ever contacted me, and nothing was ever fixed.
Because their secure online payment system remained unusable, my account eventually fell several months behind, leaving me without coverage through no fault of my own. The only “solutions” offered were mailing a check or reading my card number to someone over the phone, which did nothing to resolve the broken system.
After 20 years, losing a customer over an unresolved website glitch and repeated ignored escalations is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone relying on their online account management or automated payment system.
