Back in February I pre ordered a Funko Pop from Ajtoys, paid for it fully and received a receipt.

This Funko Pop was for a gift and I knew the release date would be sometime this month (April).

The Funko was released last week and I have yet to receive mine.

I have Emailed Ajtots twice now, with no reply and even tried chatting to them via their AI chat bot, still waiting for it to chat to me.

I would say they are quick to take payment but deathly slow to deliver or to reply to any queries.

I will not purchase from them again and when I say purchase, I mean pay for something never to get it sent to me.

Please be wary before using this supplier.

I had to give 1 star cause I can’t give less.

I purchased a preorder of an ascended heroes triple blister back in January and emailed requesting I get a specific variant (it had said they were assorted on the website). Their response was fast and they said they'd see what they can do- once release day came around I opened my package to see I'd got the variant I requested- I understand its difficult to distribute items to customers in the current state of the pokemon tcg hobby right now so I really appreciate this gesture.

Awful business, second time I've bought TCG items from them only to tell me they don't know when the stock is coming in.. Why the hell are you selling products you don't have stock of?

Beware, do not buy anything from this shady book company selling trading card's which they don't have an absolute clue when the stock is coming in but they'll take your money straight away and not say anything?

On 2nd August 2025, I ordered two Pokemon booster boxes from AJ Toys. At checkout, there was no indication that these were pre-order items, so I expected standard delivery times. As the weeks passed and after receiving no updates about my order, I contacted the company on 23rd August and was told that the products were actually pre-orders expected in September/October. Although disappointed about this, I appreciated the prompt reply and decided to continue waiting.

However, that deadline passed and I received no further communication and my order was yet to be delivered. When I reached out again on 26th October 2025, I was told there was no ETA from the supplier, which contradicted the earlier timeline. Due to the uncertainty and lack of updates, I chose to cancel my order.

While AJ Toys were quick to respond when contacted, the pre-order status should have been clearly stated upfront, and updates should have been provided once the promised timeframe was not met. It was disappointing that I had to reach out for updates myself, especially after being given a September/October timeframe that wasn’t met. However, due to their prompt replies and their willingness to cancel the order without issue, I am leaving a 3-star review.

Pre-ordered an item in November, they didn’t get enough stock to fulfill the order however as soon as it arrived it was honored, and delivered promptly.

Updated regularly throughout and even chucked in a hot wheels for my little one.

Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Ordered an item, took them two weeks with no dispatch, then when I emailed to request an update they tried to say it was a preorder (didn't say that anywhere on the website, and still doesn't say it, but of course now the item is out of stock) and cancelled my order without me requesting to do so, clearly to cover their tracks.

Judging by other reviews they do this a lot, and I assume they'll reply to this review informing me that a refund was issued, which is besides the point - the problem here is claiming things are preorders that you haven't received yet as an excuse for poor service. Useless.

Great experience from start to finish, from the chat feature on their website (super fast and helpful) to comms on delivery and final product. Would highly recommend.

They did not send the advertised product but did replace promptly with the correct product, which is a relief.

I ordered an item on pre order in November with the item promised for January. Payment was taken as soon as I placed the order. January came and went, when I contacted them I was told I would receive the item by the end of February. We are now at the end of March and I still have not received item with no contact from the seller.
Poor shocking experience. Please avoid as when you pre order you you actually believe you are guaranteed the item

I pre ordered two Hot Wheels Collectable items in August which were said to be arriving in September. They took my 50 quid and as September came and went I contacted them to ask when it might arrive, they told me it would be November now, so again I waited.

Christmas came and went and I still had not received anything so again I got in touch and was told they had been cancelled from the supplier, which I suspect was a lie. They refunded my money and apologized but offered me nothing in the way of compensation nor did they even attempt to buy one for me elsewhere. The thing about collectables is that often once they have been sold, there is no chance to buy one from anywhere else other than other collectors. If they had said to me earlier that there was no stock, I would have found it elsewhere whilst they were still in production, but when you pay in advance for a supposed PRE ORDER you expect to be guaranteed the items. In my opinion, what they should have said once they realised they had messed up is either, we have sourced one from somewhere else for you, or sorry, here is something to make up for letting you down, what I actually got was this....

I will not use the shop ever again, and I would not recommend it to anyone either. Steer clear.

Would give no stars if I could. Please do not buy from this company. I was sent a completely fake item (had ordered a plastic barbie type doll and was sent an ugly pottery statue) the item was £50 and didn’t even come in a box. It is an unusable item and the company did not reply to my complaint email or Facebook message. I suspect this company is not really Ireland based as the item also took weeks to come (as if it had come from China). When I took a closer look at their website it appears it could be fake as there is very little info address wise.

Fantastic service needed a Wednesday doll for my daughters birthday and could not get anywhere and these two lady’s could not be more helpful got me the doll and got it to me before her birthday thank u so much you really did make her day xxxxx

If I could give less than 1 star at this point I would. I placed an order I'm March, told my item would be arriving by April. I am now almost September and STILL haven't received my item. I've spoke with customer services numerous times, hearing excuses with no one being held accountable. I've been asked if I'd like to "hold my order" I believe ny order has been on hold since April, so not clear on what they even meant by that. Will not be a returning customer, and will discourage anyone else from purchasing from this seller. Absolutely awful.

Wow, this shop is a certified mindblower! I didn't think such a cozy shop could have such great product range! From LEGO to Barbie, I couldn't believe it! To top it all off, the staff where an absolute delight! I was met with a smile and warm hospitality. Would recommend to anyone!
