Two hours to get thru immigration on March 5, 2026. Totally disorganized. Missed a booked tour due to that. Lady at bus ticket booth rude and impolite. Absolutely no manners. Gentleman at Info desk quite dumb! Disappointing for an international airport! Will avoid until service improves.
All slow because long queue
Avoid Terminal 2
The newer terminal, Terminal 2, is poorly managed. There are many brand new security terminals that are not even used. There is a really long security line, but they only open 20% of the terminals. Immigration processing is slow, and the baggage processing is worse at Terminal 2 compared to the old Terminal 1. Hopefully Korean Air and Asiana will demand that the airport fix these problems. The airport is making its flagship carriers look bad.
Worst immigration lines
Worst immigration lines in the world; particularly for an exporting country that wants to promote tourism. The good part is that the food gets better and better every time I visit and having lived in NYC, Beijing and other large cities, it’s refreshing to experience an incredibly polite and respectful society.
Today: 45 minutes, not bad but definitely nothing like Hong Kong or Tokyo
Last month 1 hour 45 minutes
They should be ashamed
They should be ashamed! I was about to miss my flight twice yesterday! I saw a father with two children missing their flights! We all came 3hrs in advance. They are disorganized, inefficient and their staff is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.
From the security guy near the Air France desk who spoke not a word of English and ignored multiple people concerns that they would miss their flights due to YOUR LONG QUEUES. Never never seen anything like this anywhere. To wrong and inconsistent information throughout. We were told there was a problem with our luggage, then you couldn't find it. We left the running one place to another
This airport is a joke and is good for national travel only. SHAME on you. Never never again!

extremely poor service for a supposedly first world country!!!
Incheon airport
We’re at an international airport, yet most of the employees don’t speak English, which makes communication very difficult. There are several pieces of unattended luggage around the area where we’ve been sitting for hours, and no one seems to be addressing the situation.
From our many travel experiences, we’ve learned that unattended bags should be taken seriously, as they could potentially contain something dangerous, even explosives.
When my husband approached airport security to report it, he was told that it was not their jurisdiction, which is extremely concerning in a place where safety should be a top priority.
One of my worst experiences
One of my worst experiences at an airport... I arrived at my gate to get my flight ticket for a connecting flight between Munich and Ho Chi Minh City. There were many people there, so everything seemed fine up until that point. Then, the staff had the audacity to explain my rights to travel to Vietnam. I’ve taken flights so many times in my life that I know my rights very well. According to them, I have 45 days to stay in Vietnam as a tourist for free. However, they wrote, “the border guard MAY ask” (not "will" or "must"—MAY, which means it’s not necessary unless they have doubts). Yet, they forced me to buy a return flight ticket to leave Vietnam within 45 days. It was a lot of stress for nothing, just minutes before my flight was about to depart. This is an abuse of authority. Since COVID, it feels like airlines and airports have become the biggest thieves of travelers. This isn't the first time I've witnessed such bad behavior from them.

Dunkin Donuts employees seem upset or not happy
Gate 266, while waiting for my 0920 flight to Atlanta then Austin, about 0530, I walked over to the Dunkin Donuts, not familiar with Dunkin Donuts here in Korean, I asked the young lady stocking donuts, was it self serve and she told me she didn't know, so I said excuse me and she then ignored me, so I approached the cashier and ask her was it self serve or pay first, her attitude was just as bad, there was a young man watching and he explained what I needed to do, I guess since I was an American probably just how Koreans treat Americans here at this airport. I now know the Dunkin Donuts rule here.

No immigration staff to attend huge amount of tourist in the immigration. Very third world below to my house expectation. Will never visit this country again
Worst airport for disabled travellers!
This is the worst airport I have ever had the displeasure of using.
Landed today after a very long flight with my disabled daughter & four suitcases. I had arranged assistance before traveling to ensure everything would run smoothly. After leaving the plane a member of staff was waiting with my daughter’s wheelchair. We went through passport control and went to collect luggage. I said I needed a taxi to our hotel en route to the baggage carousel to which the special assistant said ‘No taxi. Taxi finished’. This left me panicking as to how I was going to get from the airport to our hotel in Seoul in a foreign country where I didn’t speak their language. The assistant translated on her phone that her service should end at the baggage collection but she would take us to the arrivals lounge. I was absolutely disgusted when she just dumped myself, my daughter who was in a wheelchair & four suitcases in the main exit area. I had a panic attack and luckily three lovely Korean staff on one of the flight desks came to my rescue. They were wonderful and helped me outside and over the road to a jumbo taxi making sure the driver knew which hotel to take us to. It’s clear that the special assistant had lied to us about the taxi & clearly didn’t want to do her job! I will be eternally grateful to those wonderful, caring ladies but I am now getting very stressed about what will happen when it’s time to leave & head home. Is the taxi just going to drop us off with all the luggage & my daughter in her wheelchair & me not be able to manage it over to the airport building itself. The special assistance crew really need to up their game. I will never fly into this airport again! We flew into Gimpo last year with no issues whatsoever and the assistance ended when we were in the taxi so why is it so different at Incheon?

Password control for foreigners is extremely slow with waiting for hours. Not as we normally see Korea - with their advance in technology and processes they should be able to do much better to give visitors s good first impression of their country.
it's the best airport I've ever seen!

When artists arrive and depart from this airport, their safety is not guaranteed or given priority. Numerous incidents have occurred where fans and artists have either suffered harm or were in danger of harm. Please take action to stop mobbing.

This airport does not ensure or prioritize the safety of artists who depart from and arrive here. There have been countless cases where both artists & fans have been at risk for injury, or have gotten harmed. Please take measures to prevent mobbing!
INSUFFICIENT CROWD CONTROL MEASURES
INSUFFICIENT CROWD CONTROL MEASURES: the lack of designated areas & personnel to manage large crowds puts both high-profile & regular passengers at risk while entering & leaving airport property

The airport takes zero precautions to protect travellers in case an idol is arriving or departing from their facilities.
The recent example of Jungkook of BTS is exemplary: there were hundreds of people mobbing him, his bodyguards and trampling over each other.
Airport security was nowhere to be seen.
The airport needs to enforce a way to keep those people away from the premises, or at the very least to protect the other travellers and the idols from being mobbed so dangerously.
Are they waiting for a tragedy to happen?

Incheon International Airport is the large and friendly airport service.
Easy to access using public transport, depature gate easy to reach.
For Muslim traveller Incheon airport provide prayer room. Many restaurant make you easier where to eat. Longe room very comfortable while waiting your departure time.
The airport as such is good, but food possibilities really poor
The airport as such is good. However if you are there at night you cannot eat anywhere. We waited at gate 40, where the homepage states that “strEAT” should be open 24 hours a day - however it closed 21:45. It would be good knowledge if the homepage was updated to fit the real world.
