Hard Money Trader. What a waste of money. Massive sales pitch that lead to nothing. A massive sell on some miracle that happens every whatever. bla bla. $1500 wasted and they want $2500 for the 2nd year.
Yes I’m the goose.

Biginners doubt usually turn to trust with time.
I have been using many of the Agora financials division e-Letters alongside other Financial e-letters.
Stansberry research; Oxford club: Motley fool: etc. since 1960's.
While they are a very good source of financial knowledge for beginners and others. they are not predictors of the future. You cannot buy every one of their submission because you are not millionaires,
but if you follow their advice you will win more often than you have loss. They are not difference from school,
you start fearfull and with doubt; you will end up much richer as the years roll by./

So far NOT impressed, I subscribed to Shae Russell’s Sell Australia Investment Strategy report and haven’t received a thing!

Hopefully it’s just human error.

Sorry, but I was not expecting for this platform to take up so much of my valuable time. I was not expecting to spend so much time in my busy day in dealing with all the reading. I have given up on using this platform for earning some extra pocket money.

The investing information and economic…
The investing information and economic analyses are excellent. The various areas of focused investing are regularly updated with solid, justifiable recommendations to both buy and sell.
However, when signing up for any single publication, expect to be hammered regularly with advertisements about other Agora publications and presentations, ad nauseam, until you simply click through the emails and delete everything without reading any except for one or two you really appreciate.
Even when you are a lifetime or Platinum member, and you get access to each and every publication, the ads and email invites to more investing information never ends.
Other than that, the overall data provided is good and can keep you informed as to economic issues and trends and interesting investment opportunities across a wide spectrum.

Be Careful
I have had good experience with Agora's "Lifetime Income Report". However, in reading all of the correspondence to this site, along with BBB complaints, I wouldn't touch any additional Agora products. I'm sure that many of Agora's employees are millionaires. But, wouldn't many of them be billionaires? Common sense!! The 3 star rating I give includes additional rating sources available for " Lifetime Income Report" recommended investments. Be cautious, sleep well.

Stay away from Agora Financial
Stay away from Agora Financial, James Altucher, Alan Knuckman, et al. The "advice" they sell does not produce a net gain in the value of your portfolio. Some recommendations work out profitably, but the ones that do not will cause you to lose far more money than the profitable trades. I began the above-mentioned Agora services in May of 2018. By December, I had made $8500 through their recommendations, but I was $25,000 underwater in sold puts that expired short of the strike price. Many purchased call options have expired worthless. I knew going in that option trading was risky. This has been a costly experience that will take years to fully recover from.

I'm Young, Curious.
Hi everyone.
At the beginning I was skeptical. But whith the time, I understood that the market goes by its own way... That means sometimes you ( I ) win and the you ( I ) can loose. It depends on the newsletter you're in ... Anyway, now I'm earning more than loosing. From Italy, Ciao.

Agora Financial...an excellent resource for investing!
Agora Financial has been a wonderful resource for my parents over the years, helping them to make very nice financial gains in stock market trades. My mother was a lifetime member, which allowed the service to be passed down to me as her heir, and I am now using this resource to help build my own portfolio. I utilize many of their newsletters' recommendations for buy and hold dividend stocks to options trading for quicker income. It has been such a blessing to inherit such a wonderful service that offers prompt customer service when needed. I am proud to say that I own lifetime rights to all of their material, and hope to continue making money with these excellent publications!

Another Senior Sucker - or not??
After review of the 3 year portfolio of trades executed by Agoura, had I followed the proposed trades and purchased 2 options at each, I would have lost todate nearly $3K or nearly 4% of the money invested. Based on the posted results I can only conclude that the model I've invested in will not generate the great returns that were represented in the presentation. I had high hopes but am crushed after reviewing the actual published results. Kudos for the great sales pitch - but the options model is broken and a farce. If you follow their advice you will loose money - in addition to what you paid for their "advice."
Current results with Agoura warrant a revision of this review. My results for the last 6 months, since the original posting, have been terrific. There have been loosers but winners have outpaced them, so much so that I have recouped my subscription costs multiple times over. Additionally I've gained experience in dealing with optons - so its a win overall for me.

******** CONSUMER BEWARE ******** Scam…
******** CONSUMER BEWARE ******** Scam Rag. I originally signed up for a free trial subscription and had cancelled within the allotted time frame. They charged me $79.00 to my cc anyways. Today I called again for the 4th time and when I told the young lady this and asked to speak with a supervisor, she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with a young man named Jesse B and asked him for a supervisor and he refused to transfer me. He did send an email to me stating that my account would be credited within 3 -5 business days but this was promised before and they just keep charging my account for renewals. Stay away from these people.
Listed below are only some the numerous…
Listed below are only some the numerous newsletters that were being advertised to my Mom and that she was subscribed to many of them, at one time about $500 worth of them in a few months time.
In October, as a result of my changing Mom's e-mail address at Agora Financial, (to a new "dummy" email account I set aside for her, ). UPDATE:
within a period of 21 days, 148 of these newsletters were issued .So just one boiler room operation controls all these, though they bill with separate names and phone numbers and deny the existence of the others.
This is kind of lengthy so please read all and then look at your own Credit Card statements. You will be lucky to have a $4.95 charge, but later it will renew at $49.99, later $99.99. They are greedy schmucks.
Also they have a penchant to target elderly republican voters. So much hypocrisy for Good American values.
Here is one example of what my Moms credit card had. This after having hundreds of dollars worth of charges removed from a previous credit card. The format will be same some report, an 800 number, an address in Maryland or West Palm Beach.
PSV*Lifetime Income Report. Two charges $4.95 on Sept 7 and $49.00 on Sept 13. They are actually called Agora Financial. They had my Mom listed in their VIP department! That is NOT GOOD! I have called and cancelled those.
Please folks, do not give any of these folks your credit card information. Do not call them or answer their calls begging you to come back. Do not even peek at their websites or click on their e-mails. It is all a scam and they will be charging you over and over for the next year. They are very bad people.
These same bad people are all related and any e-mails like these avoided like the plague. I got 62 emails in first 4 days by simply giving an email address to Agora Financial. These are all the same folks located in Maryland and West Palm beach. They churn out these newsletters as fast as they spam your in box. THEY ARE LEACHES!!! They are just out to sell GET RICH QUICK newsletters. I doubt they can make as much on the stockmarket as they can selling newsletters.

That is just what I have collected so far. It is all Agora Financial behind this.
dubious and not transparent
When I signed up about 4 years ago to one of their newsletters I did find the newsletters quite informative and I actually believe some of the investment tips have been good propositions at the time. I have limited funds and thought it was better to invest small amounts into riskier stocks as any rewards were potentially that much greater. But when you evaluate the whole experience you realise this service is extremely poor value.
One flimsy newsletter with one stock recommendation per month.
Constant emails verging on harrassment if you dont sign up to other services none of which are explained in simple terms cue : paragraphs of meaningless waffle.
Subscription policy is designed to catch you out ie there is no notification for renewals - they will just take your money when its due.
You cannot cancel your subscription online you have to call.
My own subscription changed to one majoring on technology based stocks a large proportion of which are now companies trading either with very high share prices and i mean in excess of £100 per share or trading on foreign exchanges which many share broking accounts do not give access.
I have another year of my subscription to run so I will hang on until then and will definately cancel.
A little self investigation/learning for free will be a better option than buying any products from these people.
I purchased a lifetime membership to…
I purchased a lifetime membership to Agora Financial Reserve no later than sometime in 2004. It cost $5,000. For that I was a subscriber to about 10 publications at any given time. Occasionally they would terminate one and substitute another.
I occasionally bought stock based upon their recommendations. Did well on a few, poorly on others. Mostly just maintained the value of my portfolio but still enjoyed reading the new issues and was open to possible new investments.
Then over four months ago I tried to login to my account and found I was no longer listed as a subscriber to any but one of their give away publications. I emailed them via their "Contact" page - multiple times - but only received the identical email form letter response - that they were looking into my problem and would get back to me. They NEVER got back to me.
Next I posted a letter containing printouts of all my prior email messages explaining I was cut off and requesting my access be restored. That was a couple months ago. No surprise that I received no response.
I am considering taking legal action for breach of contract but don't know if that is worthwhile. It would be hard to prove damages. It's a shame because my service was good for 14 years but is now non-existent. I met and talked with Bill Bonner once when he visited Australia, where I live. Very pleasant and friendly guy. And I love his "Bill Bonner Diary" emails. Very interesting analysis of current events. But that in no way excuses Agora's despicable customer service.
My experience
I paid for a service called true alpha. This service was cancelled. Instead of asking me, if I want my money back they transferred my subscription to another service, that had nothing in common with the first. Now they have the nerve to deduct a new subscription fee for something I neved ordered or asked for. Also to cancel a subscription is made complicated. This company is a total scam. Stay away.
-
Follow-up comment: I since received a contact from the company and my subscription fee was repayed in full. The situation is hereby handled.
