Dan Michael is helping me live the life I want to. I see him on a regular basis and he has been instrumental in helping me to avoid surgery and in keeping me active and as pain free as possible. He has a rare set of skills and is constant learning and pushing himself to understand fully the human body and how the various structures and systems work together so his treatment is as holistic as it needs to be. I highly highly recommend this professional genius.

Knowledgeable chiropractors delivering tangible results. Had a sore hip and back (and shoulder) - slightly interlinked. Dan has helped give more movement and lessened the impact of previous injuries. This has allowed me to continue with specific sports. Would highly recommend.

Have been a patient here for a few years now and will always recommend this Clinic to others. All staff are excellent and there is always a warm welcome to everyone by everyone. The staff here know what they are doing and with the wide range of treatments available, there is a treatment for all. Even my 86 year old father comes here and is feeling much better after treatment.

Ryan is excellent at his job. He talks you through every step of the treatment, making sure you understand everything that's happening. He is professional, reassuring, and puts you at ease, leaving you feeling much better after your treatment. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

In an earlier review, some 2 years ago, I wrote this:
"I have only recently discovered Active Health Clinics in Maidenhead. I have been suffering with back problems - a prolapsed lumbar disc - for almost 40 years. Having had the normal scans, I have twice seen consultant neurosurgeons, both of them advising me not to have any surgery but suggesting that I find other ways of treating the issue, e.g. physiotherapy, osteopathy, massage, daily exercise routines, etc. Over the years I have been visiting various different 'specialists' but my problem remains largely unresolved. I have made one visit to Flavio at the Maidenhead branch of Active Health Clinics and his chiropractic techniques were somewhat different from anything else that I have ever undergone. In truth, although it is early days, I have already felt some benefit and am eager to continue with this form of treatment in the hope that I can, if not resolve the issue, at least control it."
It is now June 2026 and after these last two years I still receive excellent treatment from Flavio and AHC whenever it is needed - now nowhere near as often and perhaps every 4 months or so - and I am happy to say that my improvement continues...thank you so much.

This is first class clinic and I had number of appointments for the past few years. Very happy with the outcome and flexibility of my appointments.

I went to George after my daughter was born and poor sleeping habits and a lack of mobility meant I was getting stiffness down my left side, to the point it would hurt to raise my elbow parallel to my shoulder. I had been to a BUPA physio prior to this and it had made no difference - George diagnosed and cleared it up in 5 sessions of sports massages. My mobility is back, the pain is gone and I feel like my old self.

Highly recommended to all who have issues.

Recently had back pain issues with a history of spasms.
I was recommended to try Dan of AHC by my sister in law as she knew him from Rams rugby club.
Initial meeting was to identify my problem and also my medical history.
Followed up with 3 treatment sessions which enabled me to play golf and go on golf tour.
Next appointment is in nearly 4 weeks time to maintain and see if any more pains

I have been seeing Flavio at Active Health Maidenhead for several months now. His technique is quite different to other Chiropractors I have seen over the last 15+ years and I have to say it genuinely works for me. I have had lower back, hip and alignment issues and my regular visits to him (in conjunction with my personal training and pilates) these now, at last, seem to be under control. Over the years I have learnt there is no 'magic bullet' but Flavio has made a real difference.

I’ve had treatment on a painful shoulder, which has now regained most of the lost movement. After a fall, I had a painful and stiff ankle which Dan has worked wonders on. He’s now started dealing with my lower back pain and I’m already feeling improvement. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I have been to see Dan at Active Health Clinics for over two years now, with the Physical Job I have, he has kept me on the straight and narrow, from serious injury rehab to constant maintenance. Not sure where I would be physically with out his knowledge and professionalism. Highly Recommend!

I went for several sports massage sessions when training for a marathon this year, George is always so helpful and knowledgeable, it was extremely beneficial to my training and recovery! Highly recommend.
