We recently completed our loft conversion this summer and I would highly recommend Absolute Lofts. Especially the builders; Charlie, Tony and their team were an incredible team, punctual and great to work with. The team at absolute lofts was also amazing with communicating efficiently throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Absolute Lofts.

The team were great. They were thorough with their work and the building work was finished quickly and to a very good standard. Any issues were addressed quickly and resolved.

Absolutely love our new loft conversion. We had two bedrooms and a bathroom done and we have been extremely pleased with the end result. From day one the work being carried out was exceptional, the builders were hardworking, diligent and considerate. Despite all the noise and dust, which was to be expected, the builders always cleared up. The work was completed within the allocated time and we would definitely recommend Absolute Lofts

Absolute Loft took us through the process and our builder, Gus and team was brilliant in project managing our loft build. They kept the place tidy and clear communication with us. We are happy with our loft and look forward to using the space

All thanks to Tony who saved the/my day last week by volunteering to speak with Building Control on my behalf - not an easy job! For some reason I wasn't given a Completion Certificate by the Council back in 2008 - Tony stepped right in and helped me out, and the Certificate was issued the next day. I am enormously grateful, and appreciate the loyalty and prompt action shown to Absolute's previous clients - thank you.

Reliable quality work, at no stage did I feel I was getting inferior work and would certainly recommend to others.
Was consulted on all elements were a decision was needed.
The building was done by Stoyan and his team who have many years of experience, I felt I was receiving high quality workmanship.

Really happy with our two new bedrooms and en suite in the loft, built and finished by Absolute. They were friendly, professional, did a great job and finished it all in a couple of months, just before Christmas as requested. Thanks Gus and team!

Professional and supportive staff at Absolute Lofts, and the team of builder who came to our house were very friendly and helpful. The extension we have is a great space and the family really enjoy spending time in the extension.

Absolute Lofts, who handle largely all the admin around the project, were very pleasant to work with. They were very responsive and addressed concerns and issues promptly.

The construction team itself, led by Gus, were equally great. They worked fast, had great suggestions beyond the architects plans, were always polite and tried to minimise disruptions.
I would highly recommend them.

Our second project with Absolute Lofts

We were so delighted with Absolute Lofts when they built our loft conversion in our old house. We used them again to build a loft and an extension this time round in our new home.

They did all the drawings and planning permissions again for us. The architect listened to our requirements and got the drawings perfect the first time. They built the loft first as the kitchen extension was a big wrap round, which meant the scaffold was down so the extension could start.

Both projects took a total of 3 months and the quality of the finished build surpassed our expectations. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend Absolute lofts every time, thank you team and you never know you may even do it a third time if we ever move again!

From start to finish, Absolute Lofts were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They understood all of our concerns and despite our very long planning approval process, were there ready to begin as soon as we were able to. Also a huge shout out to Denis and his team of builders, roofers, decorators etc, who created nothing short of our dream loft extension, to a very high standard. It's everything we could have hoped for and more. Highly, highly recommended.

Absolutely Delighted

Thank you to all at Absolute Lofts for our loft, the space and finish is second to none. The whole experience has been amazing, from the staff in the office, to Jack and our fitting team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The build took only 8 weeks, Jack would run us through the day’s work most mornings, so we were informed every step of the way. We would highly recommend Absolute Lofts.

The team were great from the beginning of the process until the end; helping formalise ideas and listening to what I wanted along with a clear price schedule. Not all loft companies are the same! Stoyan the appointed contractor for my project was just fabulous. He has over 15 years of loft building experience and it showed; attention to detail, great workmanship and quality of work. He offered ideas in terms of placement of doors, storage and layout, to get the most of the space. I can't recommend him and the Absolute Loft team highly enough.

Please check their record at Companies House. They’ve changed their name from Absolute Lofts South London Ltd to Absolute Lofts London Ltd and then Absolute Lofts For Homes Ltd at intervals (dissolving previous companies) to avoid responsibility for disastrous work. Honestly our whole build was a nightmare. Our project manager said he had good reason for not being available but his solution was to take our money & not replace himself, so we were left with a builder who didn’t know what he was doing. Communication was appalling. Time keeping was a joke. They built off the plan in two places and we had a huge legal wrangle with the council at our own expense. We had a Niagra Falls-style leak that was meant to be under their ten year guarantee which they refused to honour. They also, during the build, (begrudgingly) moved a door to a terrace (which was built in the wrong place) and didn’t move the joist, so now our ceiling is falling in - but if you call them they just say ‘Absolute Lofts X is no longer trading. We are Absolute Lofts Y. Totally different company’ and hang up on us, but their website says they’ve been building lofts for 35 years. Ours is one of them. The email addresses, phone number and staff are exactly the same. Our project manager who is still with the company guaranteed us in our contract -

 “Should a fault occur within the 10 year warranty period, Absolute Lofts will implement any remedial work required without charge. In the unlikely event of Absolute Lofts ceasing to trade during the warranty period, your guarantee will be honoured by Independent Warranty insurance who are authorised and regulated by the FSA.”

We approached the insurance company and they never insured us.

The project manager (who is senior at the company and understandably requested his name was removed from this review) knows. They all know but they just hang up on us when we call and refuse to answer emails. I don’t know how they sleep at night.

It’s a nice loft except for the terrible errors. They’ve got some good reviews so you might be lucky but if anything goes wrong, you’ll be on your own and you’ll have to pay out of pocket, so I’d recommend you find a company that doesn’t change its legal name and start over every so often to avoid fixing their mistakes. We could take them to court and we’ve been advised we’d win but the time, energy and emotional exhaustion isn’t worth it, which is what they’re counting on. Please be warned. Absolute Lofts? Absolute nightmare.

16/11 angry ND, AL refusing to remove flashing. Not followed approved plans resulting in Criminal damage to my property. Planning dealing with breach of approved plans
12/09 - 16/11: ND refusing to remove flashing and demanding access when it has no access by law. AL response is malicious and reflective of itself and same abuse experienced for protecting our property.
Never met yet AL is attacking me. AL was forced to remove mental status. replaced with troubled.Scapegoating me and per legal advice trespass and work done outside of the award. All events verified by TP. review pictures on Google. My 2nd review, removed theft (true) and written land grab because AL complaint it was defamation of ND. ND goading AL onto us, AL should do work solely inside NDs property by law. Verified email he claimed was fake. I will not respond as the response is all false and as legal owner he and next door has no permission. Leave it to you judge as his response is extremely disturbing to cover his tracks and ND desperate for a reaction. Instead of removing encroachment he feels he needs to attack. We will sue next door for getting builder to defamation of character and under section 7 of PW Act. This is one of few trespass by ND, purposefully refusing to remove since 2017. Unfortunately it feels entitled to build beyond line of junction without consent. Have to deal with AL I never ever met and has been reported to police for sharing personal details, has no consent. ND desperate for reaction. AL unable to provide method statement and disregarding no consent. ND is still on legal notice not to carry works out to line of junction.

11/07/2023 adjoining owner to next doors (ND), loft conversion.
AL was informed in advance but ignored our request and over-sailed scaffold inside my property. It was unbelievable. I asked politely to remove trespass between 9am and roughly 2pm without any success. Whilst on the call to the police one of the worker started filming me inside my garden very unpleasant. Police can hear me asking him to stop filming me.
Legal advice was deliberately causing nuisance and trespass. The workmen should have stopped after repeatedly been told not to carry works on my property. I asked repeatedly but carried on laughing. I complaint to senior manager but he did nothing, it was shocking.
ND did everything to coverup trespass, land grab, alter my title plan and obstructing work to line of junction did not intervene to carry works within its property.
- did not comply with PW award and refused to reduce it for 1 month until the 7th August.

12/07/2023 Checked with loft companies and they advised the workers must seek consent before.
- Carpenters informed work is done without agreeing line of junction. Flash led on my side without permission
- Reported ND to Police who logged it as ASB.

A photo of the trespass was emailed to AL, but did nothing stated they had the paper works. Unbelievable. I was alarmed that I was spoken to in that manner and am the legal owner stating remove it they have no permission. ND was written to in 2016 to confirm they have no rights to my property due to concerns.

- 18/07 - I requested repeatedly not to over-sail but the workers ignored me. Next door obstructed my work 3 times when i had the approved award, my builder stopped and on the 4th time we had 3 police officer assist us.
My builder stated the sequence of events are very unusual and def influenced by next door.

- 18/07 legal advice is scaffolders should stop & building owner intervened.
Next door obstructed and breached my approved PW award 3x we had papers too. ND should have informed you of the malicious dispute they created and how they are currently obstructing my work and there are unresolved issues impacting my property. ND who received 2 ASB warnings and asked by police not to approach them.

- 11-25/07 AL did not approach us at all as the work is impacting my property. ND doing works without agreeing the line of junction is illegal. Next door faked dispute, took a back seat and carried out works and still obstructing ours through ASB.

14/08/2023 police asked ND not to go on my roof but roofers was on my roof again.

- 27/07 3rd surveyor advised not complying and adhering with the PW

20/08/23 AL has been asked to remove flash led placed without permission
21/08 - response very concerning and reported to police. no idea what he is on about and never met builder to attack and defamation of my character, awful and nasty to coverup. Serious ASB by ND over the years.
Asked builder not to add flash led throughout ignored and owner laughed and yawned, very weird, desperate for a reaction.
Inc. dates to show unprofessional behaviour and time to resolution. Appears AL is knowing to ND.
The work impacted my property yet AL and ND done work from my property illegally.

Quality loft conversion specialists. We have used Absolute Lofts before at our old home and have now used them again on our new home this year. We would highly recommend them they were the much-needed help that we needed when we planned our loft bedroom and bathroom design.

Absolute Lofts took care of all aspects of the job. They arranged the various trades people in order and kept up fully advised of who was coming to do specific jobs and we were very impressed how well it all flowed

Cracking job all round!

We had Darren and his team working on our house and we’re really happy with the result, they honestly did such a great job with the loft and our new bedroom ensuite. Thanks again to everyone at Absolute Lofts involved and who helped us through the process, very happy we picked you over anyone else!
