We purchased a new property in Sholden Kent approx 15 months ago. From the day of viewing to the actual purchase and the moving in, the individuals involved were extremely professional and a credit to the company. The quality of the property is excellent.
I recently needed to speak with the after sales dept to request some information not regarding the actual property. I am a man of mature years and have dealt with many companies over the years and from experience did not expect the service I received. I emailed the department and within 24 hours my request was dealt with in an extremely professional manner. I cannot recommend this company any higher.

Aa developer with a very warm staff, from the first step into their office we felt the trust and full support offered to make the right decision for us.
Starting from the plot reservation process until the day of completion, Abbey was with us and guided us correctly and promptly.

From what started as a curiosity on visiting a new build accommodation; we were totally sold by the expert advice and support of the sales team, especially our dedicated sales advisor Zoe. Her support and empathy at listening to the customer was in great contrast to the horror stories you hear. Zoe kept in contact with us weekly, even when there was nothing to add. She accommodated every wish we for the property design and furnishings plus our many visits from early morning, to late evening and even weekend site visits, many unannounced where we would just turn up . Moreover she gave us every confidence that we were making the right choice for our biggest life choice. We can not wait to move into our forever home. Thank you Abbey but more importantly thank you Zoe (and Heather who was also so helpful when was Zoe not around). We’ve recently moved into our new home at Kings Green, Upminster and are very happy so far.

Akash, Julia and Caroline in the sales team were fab! approachable and helpful at every stage, and made sure the process went smoothly.

The real highlight has been the site managers Matt & Ed who have been absolutely outstanding. Nothing has been too much trouble for them — they’ve genuinely gone above and beyond and done everything they can to make sure things are sorted. They’re always responsive, easy to deal with, and clearly care about getting things right.

Matt and Ed are a real asset to the Abbey Homes team, and their support has made a big difference.

We purchased our Wingham property in Houghton Regis just over two years ago and initially loved the home. The room sizes were impressive and it felt like the perfect family house. Unfortunately, our experience with Abbey Homes since moving in has been extremely disappointing.

At the time of purchase, we were clearly informed that we would be entitled to a one-week snag list after moving in and a final two-year snag inspection. One week after completion, the site manager contacted us requesting our snag list, which we provided. In November this year, we contacted Abbey Homes’ customer service to chase the long-overdue two-year snag inspection. We were then told we were not entitled to one and should have reported issues as they arose. This directly contradicts what we were told when purchasing the property. Abbey Homes have since gone back on what was promised.

Over the last two years, several issues were raised verbally with the site manager, trusting that they would be addressed at the two-year stage as advised. These include, but are not limited to:
• Carpet on the stairs not fitted correctly
• No access panel to the utility room
• Dents in the flooring
• An uneven kitchen floor (confirmed by an Abbey Homes contractor)

There are numerous other defects, but these were intended to be formally raised at the two-year snag inspection — which Abbey Homes are now refusing to honour.

We have also experienced serious issues with the heating system. When we were left without hot water, Abbey Homes refused to send a Gas Safe engineer, forcing us to arrange our own. That engineer identified faults with the boiler installation, including the absence of a magnetic filter. This was reported to Abbey Homes and again dismissed. We are now experiencing further issues with bathroom extractor fans pooling water — a problem also affecting our neighbouring property — which we are expected to resolve ourselves.

Abbey Homes’ aftercare has been wholly inadequate. Promises made at the point of sale have not been honoured, defects have been ignored, and responsibility has repeatedly been passed back to the homeowner.

If you are considering buying an Abbey Homes property, ensure everything is in writing. Based on our experience, verbal assurances mean very little, and Abbey Homes do not stand by their word or deal appropriately with post-completion issues.

A big shout out for the team at Abbey Homes at Wellington Gardens in Walmer, Deal on making my recent purchase go smoothly. A special mention to assistant site manager for his calm manner of dealing with any issues quickly and more importantly ensuring that I was happy and settled.

We recently bought our first home with Abbey New Homes and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, communication was excellent — everyone was very friendly, approachable, and always happy to answer any questions we had, which made the process far less stressful as first-time buyers.
The quality of the new build is very good, and on the rare occasions we did have any issues, they were resolved quickly and efficiently. Our site manager Ben has been absolutely amazing. He was extremely responsive, proactive, and made sure any problems were sorted promptly, which gave us great peace of mind.
Overall, we’ve had a really positive experience and would happily recommend this developer to anyone looking to buy a new home.

We purchased a new home Wellington gardens Walmer. From sales front end ( Zoe and kate) to resolution of the minor issues after moving in (Simon) we've been dealt with by incredibly experienced staff.

Good home, good price and value. Very speedy buying process as a first time buyer and the sales team and on site manager have been very helpful and responsive. No snagging issues except kitchen cupboard and drawers which are currently being fixed. Would recommend this developer.

Big thank you to the Sales team, site managers and people on site at Chestnut street. All have been very helpful when moving into our new home and were quick and efficient when I came to the very few small snags we had. Great team would definitely recommend!

I cannot explain how supportive these ppl have been to me. I am single, and I purchased the house. I had a lot on my plate with full time work, Teresa and Mick the team has been so supportive from first meeting till even almost a month after moving. Teresa helped me with the purchase and site manager Mick has been there every step of the way with all the questions I had, and I had a lot of questions :) . I dont know much about houses, but everything was clearly explained to me, any questions i was able to approach him without issues. I can say, even post purchase Mick and Teresa ,the team is still looking after me. As a single person, for me customer care has been excellent and even more i feel am looked after. I cannot thank them enough.....

Although there was no homes available for me, the woman in the sales office was very welcoming and helped to explain all my options. She has shown me alternative options to a first time home that I wasn’t fully aware of and given lots of other advice.

I recently purchased a home at Arcadia Park in Aylesbury through Abbey New Homes, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team made the process smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable.

The sales team representatives, Barbara and Chloay, were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly supportive during the house viewings, answering all my questions patiently and providing detailed insights into the properties. Their guidance throughout the completion process was top-notch – they kept me informed every step of the way, handled paperwork efficiently, and were always just a call or email away for any concerns. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out, making what could have been a stressful time feel reassuring and exciting.

Equally impressive were the site team personnel: Ian, Nev, and Henry. These guys were fantastic during the home handover and beyond. All round fantastic customer facing and caring service!
From start to finish the level of care and needs of purchaser we’re at the forefront of all aspects of the sale. Understanding and knowledge of the exchange process and the delays that can occur were dealt with compassion to reassure us that everything was OK and we wouldn’t lose the purchase.
The sales office staff went above and beyond to make everything right and for us to feel like part of the family during and after the sale was complete to after we’d moved in.

We've recently moved into our new home on the Kings Green development in Upminster. As expected when moving to a new build property there have been some minor snagging issues, but our Site Manager Matt and his assistant Ed have been very attentive to all of the issues we have raised and addressed each one very professionally. We have been very impressed with the service provided and have had confidence that the issues we have reported will be dealt with effectively.

We recently bought our new home from Abbey New Homes in Sittingbourne (Chestnut Grove), and the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish.

The sales ladies were amazing especially Marina she was so friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole buying process. They made everything feel easy and kept us updated every step of the way.
