A1 sheds were recommended by a family member, shed was selected and a delivery date given which was suitable. Delivery was on a Saturday morning and shed was erected in about half an hour. Totaly delighted with the product would not hesitate to recommend.

I got good advice from Gerry when looking for a large shed and the team at A1 were supportive throughout the process given I wanted to delay installation for 3 months until I moved. The team pulled the stops out a week before installation by finding another groundwork contractor to prepare the base after mine pulled out. The shed is quality and very pleased with the whole process

I chose A1 SHEDS to purchase my shed from as they are a fairly local business, you can view their sheds at their shed site and they were very efficient and fast at delivering and erecting my shed for me. I will be back for another shed/summer house from them as I am very pleased with my first purchase.

From my initial enquiry to placing an order Gerry and his company at A1 sheds have been absolutely fantastic. I was struggling to source a large greenhouse and A1 sheds came up with the perfect item for me. I cannot recommend this company enough. Professional, polite, helpful and great communication throughout.

I ordered a 10 x 16 garden shed from A1 shed, spoke with a very helpful guy, explained what I was using it for and together we came up with a design. He told me that it would be 5 weeks and I stated that I needed it before Christmas.
It was delivered and installed yesterday. Very professional installation team and went through everything when finished.

I would highly recommend A1 Sheds.

Installers arrived on time, said it would take about an hour or so but had problem getting the door to close, and I had to leave for work but completion. He said the wood was warped because it was stored outside.
They left a line of screws sticking up inside the shed at the back, put most of their rubbish into our bin filling it to the top and left lots of bits of roof, wood with screws sticking up etc on the grass near the shed.
Within 2 days, there was a split in the front corner piece at the bottom and also the door was jammed solid, wouldn't open at all.
2 weeks later, a fitter arrived, repositioned the door and we had no further problem with the door. However, A1 shed had not told him re a new corner piece needed and he didn't have any with him.
Another 2 weeks passed and the same original fitter came to replace the corner piece. However, as well as the new one splitting, the fitter also split the lower front panel right across it. He also fitted one of the 2 missing back corner pieces, left the other one propped by the shed but, again, I had to go out and didn't notice this very pleasant but incompetent fitter had only fitted one corner piece.
Another three weeks passed and yet another fitter arrived with corner pieces. The missing back one was nailed in. But the one replacing the split one and the replacement corner piece both split again!
I was sheltering in the shed whilst this was happening and noticed both the floor and 2 batten ends were sticking out, meaning the bottom front panel was not flat which is why it kept splitting-why didn't any of the fitters notice this! Apparently the original fitters did not fit the shed walls properly on the shed floor so it stuck out.
The fitter sawed off all the jutting out bits as mentioned above, replaced the front panel and corner piece and all was OK.

Four visits to properly erect a shed, not very good communication from the office, took a while to reply to emails, some ignored.

We ordered the 10x19ft shed and it arrived in a 7 weeks, just outside the 4-6 week time window. That was fine, sometimes things take longer. However, the 10x15 was received on Tuesday 15th August. I was later to find that they send out an 'extension pack' when buying bigger than 10x15. It would have been nice for A1 sheds to highlight this in BOLD to their customers.
A1 sheds put me onto Store More who distribute the product. They tried to convince me several times I had all the parts, and me and a friend painstakingly went through every part with a fine tooth comb to find - it wasn't there! Store More said the extension pack would arrive on the Monday (I called on the Thursday). When I called last Tuesday, I was then informed the 'extension pack' wouldn't arrive until the Friday, 25th August. Nothing arrived on Friday. I emailed and spoke to someone today who said it was meant to be received on Friday, but she cannot track it down, apparently a bank holiday in England.

The shed is laid out waiting for parts, initial shipment sent received on 15th August, now 28th August and still waiting to put it up. After patiently waiting 7 weeks, then 2 WEEKS of WAITING!!! So, 9 weeks in total so far and the shed is still lying around in parts. I would have rather it was all pushed back to receive in one go, now it looks like we might need new parts of the ones that have gone rusty which will hold it up even more. I can't be expected to store it all inside! Also, we thought the parts were coming in a couple of days not 2 weeks later, otherwise we might have tried to find a place to put it all!

Honestly, what a shambles!! How hard is it to send a shed out these days?!

People hanging on waiting to do the job. Going away soon and wanted to get it up before going, it was all timed perfectly. I find it very bizarre - A1 sheds seems to be just the middle man

A1 Sheds are great when you place an order. They process your order and take payment promptly. However, if you have issues with your product they do not respond to emails, do not return phone calls, duck and dive until most people get fed up.
A1 Sheds in my opinion are a ridiculous set of individuals. Do not trust these people.

We bought our shed almost 3 years ago and have been delighted with it. We called A1 for some advice recently after we'd 'misplaced' our door key and they were extremely helpful. Excellent after-sales service!

Ordered some 'Pro Base' floor panels. Really good quality and delivered the next day. Fantastic service!

Our power shed is excellent, and A1 offered everything we needed from foundation upwards to get the job done without needing to source extras. Website excellent, shed personalisation options excellent, and both email and telephone support used throughout order process. Highly recommend A1.

I placed an order at 10.15 am on Wed and the Probase Shed Base was delivered by 2 pm the next day. Their responses to both my email and telephone enquiries prior to making the order were really quick, friendly and helpful.

We purchased the sloped 10m2 bbq hut from A1 sheds. Gerry was so helpful and professional throughout the whole process and kept us updated well, even with brexit/covid and snow. Our bbq hut arrived and was a great project for me and my partner to put together. We now love spending time out there with our little girl and more recently with family and friends. It's so cosy and fun to have a space outside that can make you feel miles away but with the novelty of been so close to our home. Highly recommend the sloped bbq hut for comfort and would also recommend A1 sheds to any one who would like to do something similar in their garden.

My original shed supplier let me down with regards to delivery, I contacted A1 Sheds and they were extremely helpful. Not only were they able to recommend an alternative shed they delivered it within 3 days. Amazing service, I would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

I ordered a SHIRE BUCKINGHAM 7x7 SHED in April 2020 for the competitive price of £499.99 (£524.98 including delivery to an Orange zone) at a time when most competitors were out of stock. The shed arrived on the promised day, delivered inside our courtyard by a friendly driver who had driven it from the factory the day before. Only one long batten was missing.

A1 provide an excellent Timber Building Care Sheet with their invoice and, ‘recommend that you treat your building with a high-quality preservative as soon as possible’. Forget about cheap Cuprinol! I took their advice and applied 2 coats of Sadolin preservative to the unassembled parts, followed by 2 coats of Sadolin stain. I would definitely recommend spending time to make a sound & even foundation, and to repaint the shed regularly to prevent it rotting away.

The shed is made from ‘sustainable timber from European forests’, selected with value for money in mind. There are several splits and holes in the thin timber, so your own silicon protection is essential.

I recommend that you read Trustpilot reviews of Shire Garden Buildings before deciding whether a Shire shed is for you. Shire Garden Buildings rate only 2.6 out of 5 from over 500 reviews, with 36% very good but 45% bad.

A1 describe the assembly as ‘straightforward’, and claim that ‘normally 2 people can usually complete the job in 2-4 hours’. However, our 2 skilled handymen took a full 10 hour day to assemble it.

There are no pre-drilled holes or clever IKEA-style corner joints to ensure level assembly, which meant that the doors were ill-fitting and needed planing down. The door latch is rather flimsy.

Placed an order back in April for a small shed and was never fulfilled after 4 months. I emailed the customer support before placing the order to make sure the item was in stock and I had the assurance the item was in stock and ready to be delivered in 5 days. Turned out the item was never in stock and 3 months after holding my money they offered a different model because the one I chose was not available from the manufacturer.

Please avoid this business. The take your money for items they don't have in stock.

It took 10 days for the refund to be complete after I asked them to cancel the order, aster a few emails advising the item might be available in October.

Really? 7 month delivery for an item?
