They came to fit a wide double garage door which needed part of the stone front of the garage rebuilding as part of the works.

They did this with no mess total politeness and efficiency

On time and on budget HORMAN was our choice of door and it’s still going strong after 15 years

Left a review at time of work but wanted to write another after seeing the below and am contacting them for another garage clicker.

Only issue I have is with one large and one small garage clicker (HORMAN standard) additional ones were expensive and the batteries in the small one can’t be replaced so we are left with one.

From the initial phone call the service was excellent. My garage door was stuck closed and 1st Choice squeezed me in and released it. I had plenty of appointment information on the day and he even came earlier than expected. Thank you

This is a review for the company at Mirfield near Huddersfield. Great service, great product and the lads who installed it were excellent, courteous , friendly, worked hard and never stopped.
If anyone is in need of a garage door, I would recommend 1st Choice Garage Doors at Mirfield 100% without hesitation.

Excellent communication. Good price quoted. Arrived when expected to carry out the work. Invoiced sent the same day and it was for the amount I expected it to be. Team carrying out the repair were speedy, helpful and friendly. Door was not just fixed but was also given a service check/MOT. I asked for advice to avoid this happening again and that information was provided.

Unprofessional. Breached Our Contract. Don't waste your time!

This company was chosen by the foreman who was controlling the build of my new garage.
The installers had previously visited the site to asess the acess with their vehicle. On the scheduled day, a week or so later after their initial asessment, they cancelled as they said they couldn`t get their van down the gravelled track. They rescheduled a week later with a smaller vehicle.
Within that morning of install, between the both of them. They had broken my CCTV camera inside the garage. On leaving my driveway, they managed to get their smaller van stuck between my drive and the gravelled lane. To aid their recovery, they actually removed paving slabs from my footpath and used them under the vehicle to get traction so they could get out. They then threw the slabs onto my driveway, broken, instead of placing them back. They drove off leaving the driveway covered in soil and gravel.
Lastly they left their lunch of crisp packets etc, cigarette packets and used cigarettes infront of the drive on the gravelled lane which is, and sign postsed as a private communial lane within a conservation area. Definately not my 1st choice in future. I just hope their work on the garage door is better than their ethics. Time will tell.
