The garden centre has been operating here for over 50 years, we have grown massively over this time to offer everything you would expect from a modern garden centre. Here at the garden centre we welcome your friendly dogs and we even have a dedicated seating area in our restaurant that is dog friendly!

Had the heritage bruschetta absolutely awful didn't expect the bread to have it layered with onions loads of tomatoes cut in half rocket sprinkle of feta wasn't worth the money very disappointed
Would have been better going to McDonalds...... we went to the cafe here at 12:30 on a Friday and it didn't look busy. Waitress who took out order advised there was a 30 minute wait on food which would have been fine however, after an hour we were still waiting. When the food finally appeared it was clear that some of it wasn't fresh, peas were hard, beans congealed and toasties were hard. Food didn't all come out at the same time and there was no apology from the staff. Shame because the actual garden centre is lovely but next time we will either go to Frosts or elsewhere.
Hopeless. Queued and then led to a filthy table, only to be made to stand (7 of us) and wait for the table to be cleared (they moved the plates onto another table, where they sat for a while longer) then cleaned the surface after we were seated... Red flag. Took another 20 mins to get someone back to the table and take order (after prompting). The drinks took 20 mins to arrive (after prompting), at which point we were told that half of the order was not available. When the hot food food arrived 30 mins later, it was wrong and the receipt had to be taken back from us and scrutinised. The sandwiches and toasties (ordered for same time) then took another 20 (after prompting). Not good value either, as the bill was near £110. Avoid.
What a let down, visited the Emporium, very disappointed.
Decided to grab some food.
Order place money taken straight away, that should have shown a red flag.
Gammon and 2 eggs with chips twice..
First the cutlery turned up, it was dirty so sent back. 1sachet of vinegar between 2 the same with the mustard. Had to ask for more, food arrived but only 1 egg not 2 so challenged and had to show them the menu, 2 more eggs finally came out. No appology, but were were advised here are your extra eggs, no it was what we ordered and paid for not extra.
Then the desert a pear crumble and custard.
No crumble more like a cake. Ok was tasty.
Would not recommend to eat there.
