I passed the English test and submitted all required documents, but my account was suddenly blocked without any explanation. Customer support never responded to my queries. It feels like a scam where they only collect personal data but don’t provide real work or payments. I don’t recommend this site to anyone looking for legit writing jobs.
I feel it’s important to warn others about my experience with Writers Lab, because what happened to me suggests the platform is not only unprofessional but potentially exploitative.
I joined Writers Lab with genuine interest and optimism. After successfully passing their English test, I received a confirmation email and proceeded to the next step: submitting a short essay, as requested. To comply fully, I also uploaded sensitive documents — including my degree certificate and national ID — for verification.
According to their instructions, these would be reviewed and I would be notified of the outcome by email. Instead of receiving any feedback, I was abruptly locked out of my account. The only message shown was:
“Sorry, you don’t have any attempts. Please, be informed that your account is blocked.”
No explanation, no support, no opportunity to retry. I had followed every step correctly and never broke any rules, yet they dismissed me without even acknowledging my submissions.
This raises serious concerns. Not only is the process automated and completely opaque, but it also feels like the real purpose is to collect personal credentials such as IDs and certificates from unsuspecting applicants. In my case, they took my documents, gave no review, and then blocked me outright.
To me, this is not just unfair — it is highly suspicious. The way they operate mirrors scam behavior, where the trust of applicants is exploited to gather sensitive information.
🔴 My advice: Do not waste your time with Writers Lab. More importantly, protect your personal documents. There are far more transparent and trustworthy platforms for freelance writers who want legitimate opportunities.

I initially joined the platform with high hopes. I passed the English test successfully and received a confirmation email. I then moved on to the second step, where I submitted a short essay, as instructed. I also uploaded both my degree certificate and national ID for verification.
Writerlabs promised that they would review my documents and notify me by email. However, instead of receiving any update or response, I was suddenly blocked from my account without any warning or explanation. The message I received was:
"Sorry, you don't have any attempts. Please, be informed that your account is blocked."
This is incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I did not violate any rules, and I followed all their steps carefully. Yet, they neither reviewed my submission nor offered any support or a retry option.
In my opinion, Writerlabs shows signs of being a scam-like platform. Their entire process feels automated, non-transparent, and disrespectful to honest writers. I strongly advise others to stay away from this site and look for more reliable freelance writing opportunities elsewhere.
Fake and waste of time!!!
I was a new applicant on this site. First I create account here with Gmail and just provide my NID and degree certificate among the steps given by them. And passed the English test and came to the second step after finishing the writing and waiting for them to accept my work. The next day when I logged into this site with Gmail, I saw that they blocked my account without any notification. It is completely fake. Better not waste time here.

Fake and waste of time! I am an English professional, yet they failed my test attempt! The test itself had grammatical errors. Unfortunately, my personal data was collected before realizing it was fake. BE WARE!

I have used this website, This website has poor account management and lacks transparency in its testing process, resulting in confusion and frustration for users. It is not a reliable platform for writers.
I have also chatted directly with them about their trust level and why we should put trust in your website, but I don't know why they couldn't give me solid reasons and continuously transfer their chats to other admins. Please don't waste your time on this site as it is 100%scam.
