I'm fed up how useless Wowcher is, I'm trying to contact them, have learning difficulties and they totally ignoring me.. they are rubbish

Paid £200 for a shed that was mean't 2 weeks after the order date this was in February haven't received full refund and the product ordered hasn't been delivered either

Easy to book the deal but was confusing about how to redeem it. The additional pop ups selling the vip options etc are annoying

I do not like to write negative reviews but I have had a bad experience with Wowcher and had to share. I booked a hotel with a Wowcher deal (order number 50825229) December 5th 2025 for a stay at the Leonardo Hotel, South Shore Road, Gateshead, NE83AE for two nights in March. The cost was £144.99. We travelled from Manchester but when we arrived the hotel had no booking for us and we had to pay for an alternative hotel. Unfortunately, I did not redeem the voucher - I was not familiar with how Wowcher works, not used to internet transactions and I thought that by paying for the deal upfront I had purchased the room. As the voucher has expired Wowcher has kept the money.

I have corresponded with Wowcher by the only method you have which is Whatsapp, a really difficult communication method as they just take you round in circles in which they say the voucher has expired and no refund or alternative is offered. Yet on their website you are given 6 months to redeem the voucher. Additionally, I believe that, as the hotel was not booked, Wowcher has not provided a service which is required under the Consumer Rights Act (2015).

All my communications with Wowcher have resulted in the same response. There is no chance of a refund or alternative offer. I will never buy from them again and warn anyone to beware.

We purchased a “4-night Rome holiday” through Wowcher, but were required to redeem our voucher with Travelolo before seeing any flight or hotel details.

Only after redeeming did we discover flight times that meant arriving at the hotel around 3:45am on day 2 and leaving at 3:30am on day 4—effectively losing two full days of the trip.

When we raised this, Travelolo told us we would need to pay an extra £330 just to get reasonable flight times—nearly doubling the original cost. Wowcher then refused a refund because the voucher had already been redeemed, and Travelolo would only offer a credit note.

We were left with no real choice other than to pay far more than advertised.

In the end, the total cost was much higher than comparable ATOL-protected packages available elsewhere.

Now in formal dispute with both companies. Based on this experience, I’d strongly advise others to think carefully before booking these types of deals.

Wowcher/livingsocial are still refusing to refund 14.99, 3 months plus and counting. How can anyone trust a company that refuse to refund 14.99, they are offering credit, but seeing as I have tried to use their credit solution before and ended up paying more than double for the item I ordered, I'm not prepared to just give them more of my money. I don't trust them, to date I have still paid 14.99 for a damaged meat shredder and that's after managing to force them to refund 18.98. In short by the time the damaged meat shredder arrived, I had paid 33.97 for something that was advertised as 14.99, so they owe me 14.99 that they are refusing to refund. Sounds like a scam to me.

Brought a massage voucher 3 weeks ago. Valid until 30 june 26.

Merchant said a top up of £30 was required as the names of the people using voucher were already on the system, or to request refund from wowcher.

Trying to get a refund from wowcher. They replied twice, now they are ignoring my messages!

I have had enough of this company.
They have already stolen my £52 for voucher code 50483898, which i complained about on trust pilot, and wowcher replied like they have resolved the issue when they have not. They have not refunded, or even given a credit.

Now they are trying to steal another £50 odd from me for code 51406502!

Give me back my money! I am going to contact my credit card company, as i want my money back from these crooks! Who will no doubt give a reply on here like they are resolving the issue when they are not.

If they do give my money back, both vouchers, i will update this review.
